thank you for showing interest in the mod and in old games like Bloodrayne2. When there are any thoughts, problems or bugs while using this mod feel free to leave a post or a bugreport. Do not hesitate to share your experience with the mod. I welcome every sort of feedback. BloodRayne2 modding is unfortunately always a bit dirty and bugs could occur where I do not even think they could happen or think about while testing. When you bugreport make sure to reproduce on a clean BloodRayne2 TC install and always post the sort of error. There is a log in the BR2TC directory where all crashes are logged. If the mod is working fine for you, a post would also be a big help. It's always great to see that a mod works as intended.
Hi again, I wrote a small but detailed Guide on the forum tab about how to merge and combine mods in BR2 TC. I dunno if that is the way of modding BR2 but it is definitely a way that worked for me xD
Not sure if it was a error on my end or not, but loading the game up pre-modding/4gb patching, I had the full range of resolution options to select before launching the game. After the mod/patch was added, it reverted to the old resolutions without the option for more modern setups like 2560x1440 etc. If anyone else experiences this, the easy way to fix it is to manually set your preferred resolution in the rayne2.ini in your documents folder.
that is really strange. I have the full resolution settings (playing currently on 4K). Thank you very much for sharing your solution:D If anyone encounter the same problem please try this fix.
Hello everyone! I read, that some of you are searching for a mod, where Rayne is in the evening outfit with her hair down. I found a solution, thanks to a Steam topic, and I created a video, where I show how it can be done. I tested with the original and with the community remaster, and it works. Only downside, that in the back of her head, the hair has some shadow. Here's the video, in the description, I showed the steps. Sorry for the hungarian menus, but my Win11 language is hungarian, but I hope, you can navigate through it.
I'm not quite sure what you mean with "weapon leveling display". Is this something also broken in Vanilla BR2:TC? Because this mod indeed changes GUI Elements like the Health Bar and Ammo Display. But it's funny that a wrapper that only channels calls from older directX versions to Dx11 like dgvoodoo fixes this xD Sounds like something the devs did wrong when porting the game to modern systems.

I also noticed that the original render file somehow conflicts with the settings. the launcher has the native resolution of my monitor set to 1920 x 1080, but the game runs at 3840x2160, they messed up something in one of the patches. I drew the developers' attention to this, but it was never fixed, but the Vulcan api did it for them.
Hi, 1070 TI is more than enough. I have 1,5GB VRAM and 5,7GB RAM usage on my end :D Did you do the 4GB Patch on Rayne2.exe (link is in the description). Without that the rayne2.exe will not be able to go higher than the restricted 2 GB limit and will cause the engine to crash. :D
Hi, I tested it a few days ago with 1.4 and had no problems that were not already present in Vanilla. So ... yes, I would say it does not affect features of 1.4. Besides the only things that were added according to the patch notes on steam are a missing cinematic which are all loose files and xinput updates. So no asset changes inside the PODs as far as I can tell. If you encounter problems however please open a bug report :D
Hi, it seems like one of your PODs got corrupted during the extraction. Make sure to unzip the file with 7-zip or Winrar and overwrite existing files (do not forget the backup!).
If that does not help ... maybe something went wrong during the download.
And make sure to: - Install on a vanilla game (no other mods or software that are related to BR2:TC) - 4GB Patch is installed - your PC is fast enough to run the game with high-res textures
If it's still not working and you followed all steps here. Please open a bug report and I will check the mod with the most recent Version of BR2:TC for incompatibilities when I have the time. I will upload a md5 checksum later on the main page, so you can verify the integrity of the download without re-downloading the whole thing again :)
I'm here to say that I love this mod and big kudos for doing this! The only thing I'm missing and I believe a few other people as well, is Rayne's original cover outfit (Evening gown outfit with the hairstyle of her standard outfit). As she basically appears on the game cover. I can't find it for the love of god. If you or anyone by chance know where to get that I'd deeply appreciate it!
hi, hmm ... I don't think it is possible to play the cover gown in the vanilla game. I'm not 100% sure, but as far as I know the only alternative outfits that are shipped with the base game are the ones under Extras -> Custom Outfits (knight armor, schoolgirl, etc.). I don't think the cover outfit was part of that (At least not with the standard hair).
If it is a mod you can take a look at the forum tab on how to merge different Bloodrayne2 Mods and make them fully compatible with the new Terminal Cut and this Mod :D
this mod is great! however it would be nice if someone made higher polygon count along with these textures. seems a bit weird to have high res textures on low polygon models.
