any way to make this more compatible with other mods like blood claw or magnum opus? maybe you could forward your changes to the emulator itself somehow since this seems like something it should be able to fix
I don't think it would be recommended to patch it in the emulator since it might screw with people who don't use the 60fps patch. I'll have to see if there is a way to make it compatible, otherwise I guess I could just download their mod and fix the beams, then reupload, but I gotta be careful not to step on toes. I'd recommend downloading DSAnimStudio to do the fix with whatever version of bloodborne you enjoy playing.
Yeah, I'm fairly certain it's because of the 60fps patch. I initially thought it wasn't since it was still happening to me without it on, but now I realize what you mean. Hopefully it still works well for people who want to use the 60fps patch.

Nevermind, it's in your screenshots lol. a143. If anyone is interested, I got it working on Magnum Opus.
edit: it's more noticeable on the side swings, I see now
