Unit's description
Mercenary units...
English Bowman: Cheap and skilled archers, historical soldiers serving England, who are good at shooting many targets faster than a musketeer, but not heavy ones... Available to Player Kingdom as renegade and to England.
Renegade Jaguar Warriors: Native warriors that abandoned their original lands to find a job as mercenary to the player army, for money or for fighting on the Independence war, they're are a bit more skilled on melee than the tribal one, but they cannot be promoted anymore. Available to Player Kingdom.
Corsairs: Skilled with both sword and pistol, these pirate warriors are excellent swordsman against weak units, when they are sober of course... Available to Player Kingdom as renegade and to Brotherhood of the Coast.
Landsknecht: German mercenaries skilled on the art of fighting with two handed swords, like a medieval. They are excellent melee warriors and heavy infantry. Available to Player Kingdom.
Caçadores: Portuguese sharpshooters (with muskets) with deadly aim precision, that travelled to the New World at the service of the Portuguese Empire, but went to the Caribbean as mercenaries. Available to Player Kingdom.

Independence fighters units...                                              (Recruit with the drillmaster)
American Minuteman: Militiamen from the North American british colonies, who are gathering arms to fight against the British. Some of them traveled to fight England on the Caribbean as mercenaries.
Haitian Insurgents: Slaves or workers who revolted against their owners/captors and escaped to the other islands. They will be carrying plantation tools and cheap clothes, what they lack on equipment they have on physical strenght and agility.
Brazillian Sertanist Auxiliar Cavalry: Cavalrymen amed with swords and hard trained on the arid grounds of the Brazillian Sertão, that travelled to Caribbean in search of jobs and opportunities of fighting the Netherlands.
Patriotic militias: People tired of being ruled by Europeans and want their lands free from the influence of the Old World, they carry many sorted items, using muskets, swords, axes, maces, pistols, arquebuses, halberds and anything they can equip.
Latin Guerrilla Fighters: Agile warriors who trained to fight on dense tropical forests, ambushing and quickly attacking the enemy on the weak spots, they carry pistols and heavy weapons.

Afonso da Silva: Exclusive companion from Brazil, veteran of the Pernambucan Insurrection against the Netherlands, that is willing to join the player and take part on his/her glorious adventures. Armed with a shield, sword and pistol. You can find him on the taverns, ask the tavernkeepers...

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!
  • This mod was mainly designed to work when the player estabilish his/her own kingdom by dominating a city independently or separating from a colonial power.
  • The game's year does not correspond to the freedom historical first appearance (excluding the Brazillian cavalry), and they are not historically accurate on clothing matter.
  • There's may be script errors on any scene of the game, COMMENT ANY YOU FIND ON THIS MODULE GAMEPLAY.

Known Bugs and Glitches (REPORT ANY YOU CAN FIND!)
  • After you spawn a patrol or the accompanying army, it will show a script error. Nothing will go wrong, I don't know what is the part of the script that is doing this but must be working fine, ignore the error message.
  • The patrol will sometimes ignore any party on the map and will keep just wandering around, bandits will still run from it and will never engage it.
  • The dialogues might glitch sometimes, but it's extremely rare.
  • No more known bugs... report them!
