Not this one as it rely heavily on game native resolution. You can try use use this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/seaofstars/mods/2 but again they do pretty much same thing - masking resized native pixels to your eyes - by different means and personally i would use one or the other
I love these CRT Filters. I'm using every one you've made, even the Resident Evil 4 one. I guess I just love the CRT look. I used this filter for Sea of Stars as I noticed you recommended trying it to someone in that game's comment section (presumably because it has the same native resolution), and I ended up preferring it.
Anyway, I tried using it for another game I'm currently playing, CrossCode and I set the resolution and texture resolution to the game's native resolution of 568 x 320 to see if it would work. It looks great generally, except the left hand side of the screen is blurry. I'm guessing because it's not as simple as just changing the resolution I just wondered if there was a setting I could adjust to fix it? Thanks!
i spend a evening figuring it out and i say its possible... but because this game uses non standard native resolution and terrible scaling in engine its kinda problematic and complicated (involving use of few programs , rewriting shaders) and process complication depends from: - what monitor do you have crt (like me - so you can use any resolution) or new kind - and do you care about pixel perfect
Yes I saw a few comments online commenting on the strange native resolution the devs went for, didn't know about the bad scaling though. I actually ended up using the Sea of Stars CRT fiter you created, and just altered the brightboost setting for CrossCode. Looks really good, although I'm guessing it's not "pixel perfect"? Sorry, I only have very limited knowledge of how CRT's work, I pretty much just tinker with ReShade to try to get stuff to look decent.
The monitor I'm using is just a (fairly) modern 1080p IPS monitor. Wish I could get my hands on a decent quality CRT in good condition, but they're getting increasingly harder (and more expensive) to get hold of unfortunately. It would be great to have a proper pixel perfect filter for CrossCode, but I don't think the game even has a Nexus Mods page?...
