Personally, I love it. Its a little floaty, and so I think something like a flail or your nun-chucks would feel great, but after some practice, I could use the weapon pretty well. Its not to hard to counter attack with it, and its a great opener. I did have the weapon ripped from my hand once, and all but the handle would slip into the ground, but otherwise the collision worked very well with walls and objects. I got two clean one-shots on enemies with a face strike. As it should be, you have to strike with the tip to deal damage, but hitting with the body of the whip is a great disruption. I can't wait until scripting comes to nomad and we can use this weapon for its amazing utility. Again, I really thing a weapon with some weight on the end would be amazing with these physics, though preferable something a little shorter in length, but ultimately I would go crazy to see any more segmented weapons be ported over.
For people having an issue with the weapon spawning, Id suggest the try clearing out all their other mods and seeing which one is breaking the whip. I only have MMP, the navy colt, and the whip, plus a few maps. The whip worked fine for me, so I wonder if something like spells, butter stabs, or the dismemberment mod could be causing the issue.
