The download listed as the "old" version works. Kinda.
Okay, so I've been trying to figure this out and noticed that the download listed as the most recent only has 4 files in it. Then, the download listed as old seems to have the full collection of files along with a readme that says it's the 11.3 version. Okay, so I tried downloading the old version and then just replacing the same-name files with the ones from the newer download. Turns out, the new download has 2 unique-name files:
sb_batleth_assets_all.bundle and SB_Nomad_Batleth_unitybuiltinshaders.bundle
That first file, in the "old" download includes the word "nomad" similar to the other files. Then I don't know what the unity built in shaders do, but that wasn't even included in the "old" version. Anyway, I try a few methods, renaming this "new" bundle to include "nomad", doing the file replacements, keeping some of the old files, all sorts of combinations and everything yielded no results EXCEPT just using the "old" download as-is. This made the weapon appear in the Swords category with the correct name and it looks good BUT...it's sideways. Or the orientation is somehow locked in a weird way. Basically, the blade is always facing to the right. I grab any part of it with my right hand and the blade faces to the right, like the points are going the direction the back of my hand is facing. When held with my left hand, the blade still faces right, pointing where my palm is pointing.
Anyway, it'd be great to just kinda grab it from whatever orientation and have the blade face forward. I honestly have no clue what else to do, but this will have to do for now until the correct files are all listed together in a fixed download that faces the weapon forward correctly.
Otherwise, this mod really does look great, the size is good, the "Weight" feels good, but yeah, it just can't be held right.
I'm having the same issue, I removed every mod I had except this one and I still can't get the weapon to appear. It's like there is a missing part to the script. Going to try deleting it and re-downloading it.
I was so excited to see this exists, but I'm having the same issue. I assumed it was some other mod's interference, but seeing that someone tried with no mods, I'm inclined to think it's some other issue. I hope it gets figured out soon. :(
