   I think the armor has stopped working because everything is making me take damage and it never used to, not just arrows.

   Arrows used to never penetrate the chainmail armour but now they cause damage all of the sudden. I removed some old mods and this happened. Is there something I did wrong?

      not possible, without scripting, youll need active js (quest B&S doesnt use)
