Overview

Over the past year, I've made quite a few weapons that I never got around to releasing. Most of these weapons were created as random bouts of inspiration, and due to prior modding commitments, they never ended up being released as mods. Having gone through my old files to clear out old projects, I couldn't just let these weapons sit and gather dust.

Rather than releasing 12 separate weapon mods, I figured it'd be better to just bundle them all into one mod: the Lost Weapons pack. Each weapon in this mod has been custom modeled, textured, and modded by me. On top of this, each weapon is finely balanced and has custom damagers. There are also one or two weapons with custom effects, of which are mostly visual besides some increased damage.

Weapons

Sokka's Meteor Sword

I've made Sokka's Meteor Sword in the past, but that was way back when I was first learning to model. Having gained much experience from then, I wanted to try my hand at it again with my own take on the sword. I'm happy to say that the result is one of my best creations, and one of my favorite weapons to use.

Disgraced Greatsword

This sword was originally created for a dead modding project known as Dreamchase. My goal was to create unique weapons that could be earned or found in the overworld, many of which can be found in this mod. The idea for this sword came from an old piece of art I saw once with a medieval-style Darth Vader, particularly is sword. I loved the look of the lightsaber-like effect on a normal sword, so I created this to mimic it. This is the first weapon with unique effects, sporting a custom trail and sharper damage.

Chinese Dadao

This was created around the same time as Sokka's Meteor Sword. At the time, I was playing the game For Honor. Back then I used to play the character known as Tiandi, who wielded a Chinese dadao like the one seen here. Razor sharp with a fancy fighting style, there's not much to dislike about this piece.

Jade Butterfly Sword

This was another weapon created for the Dreamchase project. The original inspiration came from the Kung Fu Panda 3 movie, where the antagonist used two of these blades hooked on the end of chains, much like the Blades of Chaos. I'd rather not make chain weapons, but I liked the wide-blade design, so I created this replica.

Loyal Greatsword

This was my most recent creation. I was inspired to make a dueling greatsword with a fancy guard, particularly with one of those wraps that go around the base of the blade. As a result, this clean blade was made. There's not much else to add on to that, other than that I wanted to make it as clean as possible with some new texturing techniques I'd not used before.

Spirit

This is a very old blade. I once made a version of it several updates ago when I first began modeling and modding, and that sword was very poorly designed. Not long afterward, I wanted to do better, so this remake was created. However, I got lazy and never updated the mod with the new sword, so it sat and gathered dust till now, This is the second weapon with unique effects, sporting a custom trail and blade glow, as well as sharper damage.

Reynard Dagger

This is another weapon made for the Dreamchase project. I liked the design of Sokka's sword so much that I wanted to make a dagger version of it. I don't think there's a type of weapon that's just a shorter design than a Jian, so this was a little experimental. The result speaks for itself though, with some subtle yet very nice engravings on the guard and pommel.

Dwarven Mace Sword

In the concept art for The Hobbit, this sword was featured but never made for the movies. The concept was to take the heft of a mace and combine it with the sharpness and shape of a sword. The idea was fancy enough for me to create this, with some custom damagers to match its unique properties. The texture work on this is not the best, but it's undeniably fun to use.

Noble Sword

This weapon was made alongside the Loyal Greatsword, as an effort to make some cleaner style weapons. Normally I'm not the biggest fan of rapiers, but the results of this weapon turned out great. The design was partially inspired by my previous Eurasian Sword mod, particularly in the blade style.

Mage Swordstaff

This came from an idea I had a long time ago: what if you were to combine the weapon archetypes of a staff and a sword? Thus created a new archetype of weapon: the mage swordstaff. The crystal side houses the abilities of a standard staff, while the flip side has the utility of a blade. Originally the idea was to make a bunch of these, and distribute it amongst the loot pools of enemy mages. However, for one reason or another I dropped the idea.

Witch Hunter Falchion

I was inspired by the guard design of a sword I saw online, and wanted to try my hand at it. This sword was the result, making ample room for engravings on both the guard and pommel. I didn't want to just throw some run-of-the-mill textures for those engravings, so instead I hand-painted them instead. Personally one of my favorite works yet.

Wyrm Blade

After my first playthrough of Elden Ring, I liked the idea of the weapons that the enemies in the crumbling farum azula. At the time I couldn't quite remember what the weapon looked like nor was there pictures online that I could use, so I threw together a mock concept for the weapon. As a result, the blade is very plain, but still a unique concept nonetheless. Its added heft makes it a... unique experience to use.
