If you like the mod, simply press this Two button. :) The same goes for those who could play this MAPmod normally. Please.
We all come from different countries. But there are some ppl who push the ENDORSE button and understand Japanese culture. Thanks to all of you, I am able to update the site smoothly. But today, someone made a "stfu weeb" comment about Japanese otaku here. Music volume is now adjustable. A fellow modder told me about it. :)
We apologize. I am sorry to inform you that I am currently unable to do so due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake disaster in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. My area was in the neighboring prefecture, so my house and room were damaged. The HDD that contained my BaS SDK was physically damaged during the 7-magnitude quake. We are still scared of earthquakes and not getting enough sleep because of them even in the middle of the night.Food and supplies were so extensive that even the center of the Japanese archipelago was affected, so we are surviving on food supplies that we had stockpiled. And I am sorry, but I will not make something similar to a MAPmod that has already been made by someone else. I don't want any more competition or conflicts. It would be better to make a request to the author of the modder who had made it in the past.
This might just be an issue with my game, but the music for this map is much louder than other maps, and it cannot be reduced through the blade and sorcery sound settings. My apologies if it is solely on my end, enjoy your day.
I would not turn down the volume of the background music unless there was a specific reason. Informational. Thanks. I was not aware of that. For example, as a stopgap measure, I would like to offer some variations.
1. the background music volume on each floor is about 71% of 100% of the source data. I will try to reduce this to 50%. If you are satisfied with this, it may be a success.
2. temporarily freeze the Unity editor components related to the BGM. However, there will be a disadvantage that you will not be able to determine the start and end of the wave. Just check the WaveBook and you will understand. This is also the first time that comments have been made that BGN does not suit the user's personal taste. I will not discuss it further as this place is No discussion status.
Reasons for this situation: I don't mind being accused of making excuses.
Since BaS U12 (around April), the BGM during the combat wave has adopted a method called dynamic music.
I was looking for a way to build using that dynamic music, but I couldn't find any tutorial videos or other information on how to build it. I was very disappointed. BaS SDK U12.3 was released in July. Other than that, most of the MAP tuning had been completed.
The creative room used for modding production of BaS was originally my main room, but the temperature in Japan this year was abnormal. The air conditioning equipment in that room had been acting up for some time. One day it broke down completely, and instead of air conditioning, it became a heating system that produced hot air. I used my savings to replace it, and the final cost of the air conditioner and installation was 100,000 Japanese yen (about $770 in US dollars at the time).
DP through NEXUSsite is individualized and saved for modding. For example, I use it to buy assets for Unity or to buy something from a high-level modeling Japanese author. For my hobby, I basically allocate the DP I get from modding to mod-making activities.
Now it's a bit more fall weather and I started re-tuning this MAPmod around September when I resumed Modding. The technique to control the background music without using dynamic music was taught to me by a friend who is familiar with MAPmod. Without it, I could not have released it. Well, I still repeated trial and error many times. I am exhausted but discovering various things.
How do I adjust the music? I have my music slider set to 0 in game and the music is still blasting. This is one of my favorite maps but the music kinda throws me off, its super loud. I tried looking in the JSON file but nothing there. Is there any way you can upload a version without any music?
Are you mistaken about something?Bug reports and your personal preferences should not be posted here.If I am going to write a bug report I need to know your history of behavior. Submit a player log file.
Ah... Japanese houses are designed to fit the height of Japanese people. :) In old wooden houses, tall people from other countries usually hit their head or face on the gate. (X A X So, if you ever come to Japan, we can train you to avoid bumping your head. XD Have fun!
I was in the middle of a wave when the music suddenly started blasting at full volume even though I had the music slider to 0. Not sure how to replicate it since, again, I was just playing normally during a wave, but it did happen.
Are you using Wave with Portable Books (U12)? This MAPmod has enemy spawn points on 1F and 2F. https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/9173/?tab=bugs&jump_to_comment=130204862 Enemies will spawn on 2F as described in this bug report. After that, the main option setting items could not be adjusted, although the reproducibility is low. Later, when I used the latest version of Portable Books (U12) just to be sure, the sound volume was back to normal, as was the slider.
I do have portable books yes. But I reloaded the map, then it worked. But then it started lagging, and then froze my game, and crashed my headset lol (Oculus Rift S)
Tried going in the game again, crashed again, but was working before that... Mhh.. weird!
Simple question. Why didn't you use the WaveBooks located in the Dojo (battle area) on the first floor? I have written a detailed bug report which you should read.
PS: I have a long interaction with the author of Portable Books and have also browsed his comments page and bug report page. He wrote that the scripts after BaS U12 are more difficult than past versions. This mainly decimated mods that used various scripts after the U12.3 patch. I use ingame scripting (event linker) and learned how to do it from Sushin, who is also a reliable MAPmod. I have a long history of interaction with Sushin as well.
Then, in that case, we would appreciate your help once. I would need to know what other mods you have installed, etc. If you have many mods installed, other scripts.dll may cause conflicts. But that is not primarily the fault of the Mod author. And I only use ingame scripts.
In your case, since you seem to have many mods installed, please submit your player log files.
I will also need a screenshot of the Mods folder in the streaming assets.
At the same time, please back up that mod file once to a separate storage. Cut & Paste. Once that is done, please make sure to manually install this MAPmod again and playtest it.
Mind you, this may not be your duty, but you are not a customer. At the same time, I'm a hobbyist mod maker too. So I am not inherently obligated to support you to this extent. Take care !
Hi I hate to resurface this seeing how many times you have answered it but this map is really appealing to look atand fun to play but the music won't go away. When I adjust the music slider it removes the casual calming music that you hear throughout the map, however about 3 minutes into being in the map this really loud more intense music starts playing and that is the music that the music slider doesnt influence. I too like using my own music when playing, if you know of a fix for this I would really appreciate it. :)
Hello mate! hmmm... Perhaps you have a more alternative reason?
You really hate to say this, but it seems you felt you had to tell me.
The 5.0C in your DL history should be the latest version, but download it again just in case.please And if you are using a previous version, you need to delete that version.
Thanks ill try that, yeah I felt like I'd ask seeing as the date I downloaded the map in comparison to when you originally fixed the music slider was still after so i didn't know if i was having a different issue to everyone else. I'm sorry, i'm sure you get this a lot. Thank you for your help
You seem to be getting a lot of posts about the music so I just don't want to annoy you. On a different note, I did what you asked and reinstalled, etc. It didn't fix it, the music still plays even with the slider already down. I apologise for any inconvenience.
hmm... I see. I too think it is an odd situation. Wow... By the way, I have verified it on my main and sub PCs before delivering it. Would you believe me on this?
I use machine translation. So there was a possibility that you would interpret my English as strange. English speakers would care about correct grammar and word choice. So bit explanation. Let's clear up the misunderstanding between us. I do mod production on my main PC. At that point I will do a playtest. Next, I will download from the NEXUS site for verification. This is because I have had experience with corrupted files that I had uploaded in the past. Mods for games are sometimes corrupted. So, copy the downloaded ZIP file to a USB memory stick and verify it on a sub-PC. For this reason, I don't install extra mods whenever possible. This is the method I learned from Jenix. If there are no bug in a single environment, there is basically no problem. From there, install some of My favorite mods one by one. Other miscellaneous people tell me "you are crazy". Of course, I am Japanese, so I am always crazy somewhere. Abnormal by global standards. When my English is misunderstood, it is often in such a long sentence. So I am sorry, but I made a reply in one to three lines. :)
Such a beautiful map! The only issue (and I've read through the forum here) is the music still doesn't seem to be adjustable. I've muted the music in settings but it still comes through.
hmm... Add: I think you just need to set the Options menu>Music volume slider to 0 (= mute). I don't think there is a base game function to mute only Music, etc. IDK
I did try that as I like to play my own music while playing. It could have just been an issue on my side, but I will try again. :) Thanks for your help regardless

I posted this on the bug report page just in case it has already been mentioned.
I am surprised that I have to write this as I was a big fan of Portable Books. Σ(゚Д゚)Wow...

Thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind, seems to be a problem with another mod
Are you probably a beginner in using mods in BaS?
Are you perhaps installing a lot of random popular mods? :)
EDIT: Ok, Mind you, if it was another modder's mod that caused it, you can't blame them.
Please do. m(; _ ;)m
In the family environment you grew up in, does that exonerate you from your own complaints if you say a compliment first? lol
joke?
