I know this seems dumb but I think it would be the coolest thing ever. what if when this gets ported to 1.0/if it does, there could be like an option that would replace all the weapons and enemies in Crystal hunt with the stuff from the mod pack. wouldn't be very lore friendly but I would love to save up like a thousand gold to buy Γtzi's Axe or like a copper halberd or something like that it would be so cool a lot of work but really cool. level zero would be wood level 2 would be bone 3 Flint and finally 4 would be copper at least a good idea what the progression might look like, anyways what you all think. also BTW love the mod.
Yea something like that's probably gonna be implemented at some point, I was thinking about how it would be balanced while playing through crystal hunt.
OMG, well I'm glad you're thinking about it and no pressure If you do decide to start working on it I will love every second of it when it comes out/if it does, of course
What I'm thinking at the moment (long term goal and as always subject to change) would be to replace the vanilla factions with some of the distinct cultural groups from the Chalcolithic. Outlaws would remain outlaws, armed with tools and scavenged weapons. Wildfolk would be replaced with Hunter Gatherers, Eraden with Early European Farmers, and the Eye with Indo Europeans.
This is incredibly cool. Just a brilliant idea, I'm so happy you took the time to make and share these weapons! It's one thing to see them in the museum, or handle them in the lab, but now we can actually play with them!: )
Bows and arrows will probably happen eventually, already have some models made up for them. Atlatls and slings I would LOVE to add, but would have to learn Unity scripting to make, so I have no guarantees for them at the moment.
Waves are already part of this mod! They were added in the 1.2 update. In the future, once all the armor and clothes (there's a fair bit to make) are finished they will be added to the waves.
Could you make the Tlingit armor? I think it would fit the era and vibe of this mod series. and the wood armor would be cool with the bone and copper weapons/tools
