i have a problem i dowloaded the 1.0 version and the new version of the outer rim but i can't manage to have any npc use blasters. i tried uninstaling and downloading everything again but it still doesn't work. any idea how i could fix the problem ?
Sorry bro, I'm not intrested in U12 still no Custom Avatar Framework U12. I use 11.3. So I can't update this untill It comes out. I tried increase the fire rate but there was no success. I think animation also should be altered at least speed but I don't know how to set it.
I think your npc have some problem. There are some older custom avatars which is stucking when spawning (they need newer creature file -you can make for them from a working character just change unique datas) - That problem has nothing to do with weapons.
I’m not a modder but can someone explain to me why there is so much talking about guns not working for npc’s and Fisher’s elemental guns work just fine?
NPC can't use firearms, so can't shoot. Fisher's elemental guns works fine? I haven't tried it but it writes: "Note: NPC firearm waves are currently bugged."
Would it be possible to just have the projectile be the base Outer rim blaster bolt once fired rather than the custom arrow that we currently use. Just a thought that struck me.
If that is possible and the TOR projectile had the same trajectory as the base game arrow you would in theory still be able to deflect it with a lightsaber due to how the TOR bolts function when hitting a lightsaber.
Once deflected, the TOR programming would in theory take over.
I think it is not possible. Outer rim blaster bolt is not an arrow, so it couldn't be fired from a bow so NPC won't fire it. Unfortunately I don't know about scripts writing , maybe if some one could write one, which enables arrows deflect. (actually custom arrows should fly straight even w lower speed and if it is been deflected not lose speed, take a new trajectory and fly that so it is complicated for me) Also would be great if someone can change NPC firing speed and make rapid firings. After also would be great if someone can alter NPCs behavior about range attack (take cover, try to flank, fire on knees, etc.)
THERE WAS A MISTYPING in DESCRIPTION. THE ATTACHED Container_NPCStormtrooper_clean.json file SHOULD REPLEACE the original one in Strormtrooper_clean/Containers folder !!! (not creature as it was mistyped)
for other NPCs: NPC's weapon determined in its contanier_NPC.......json. Here you can add this weapon with text editor. Reference should be "Item", Referene ID "E11bow" , "holderName": "HipsLeft" and for ammo Refernce "Item", Reference ID "LaserQuiver" , "holderName": "BackRight"
