    Hey man, just wanna say that I'm having the same issue with it not firing.
    I've read your descriptions, all the comments and the replies even
    watched the proof video, I'm not saying it doesn't work just theres a problem. 
    Are you sure it doesn't need a supporting MOD or something like that?
    and yes I've tried pulling the trigger.

      What VR controller are you using?
      Is it a Valve Corporation Vive controller?
      Or is it an INDEX controller?
      I basically use the Quest2(Oculus Touch) controller, but I don't have the funds to buy another VR controller.

      You need a request mod, like GlockMod for example, or it won't work without a script. DLL etc...

      The Shoot feature in EventLinker is based on the BaS base game system.
      If Stake does not fire when the Trigger (USE button) is pulled, perhaps the key bindings are completely different.

      EDIT: Have you deleted the old version and installed the latest version?
      The current latest version is 4.1PRT. Your DL history shows 4.0PRT.
      There shouldn't be too many changes, but mods sometimes corrupt files when they are DLed.
      However, I download it again myself right after every upload to make sure it works.

      Same here, it does not shoot. I can imbue with powers but nothing shoots when pulling the trigger. (Version 4.1PRT)

      The event linker does not use json files or external scripts or modules. It uses the base game functionality.
      Even on imbue, DragonStake can be fired.
      That is proven by my Youtube video.

      I have noticed one thing about this series of "Stake doesn't spawn" commenters.
      They are probably modders or friends of modders who have other accounts. I'm sure there are others who have sub-accounts and have a hobby of monitoring.
      And they know that most of the event linkers are broken in the latest version of the SDK. I heard about this from my friend.
      Of course I have no scripting or coding knowledge or skills.
      But I keep and maintain the SDK after the U11.3 release by the date of the update.
      The SDK has had frequent updates since the U7 days. Sometimes the latest version was broken.
      I have experienced that and have done various verifications. As a result, it has been found that most of the event linker script files are broken for the latest version.
      I have exported the normal script files from my collection of SDKs and made it possible to Shoot Stake.
      Simple as that, jealous.

    Say, could you explain to me how the gun function part works? I tried spawning in the stakes (which unfortunately resulted in it not spawning at all) and I'm not sure what else to use as ammo. I also tried pressing some buttons, including the usual trigger button (I assume that it requires ammo to function so this may not be relevant). I'm a bit confused on what I'm exactly missing.  If there is anything that I missed, please do let me know as this mod does seem fun to use.

      Umm...I think currently you just pull the trigger as normal. The environment of the VRHMD device you are using has nothing to do with me, so I think you just press the trigger like any other simple firing weapon that can be used with a similar BaS. At that time, DragonStake0 (non-attribute) is fired as a small projectile. Other than that, you can do Spellimbue and use Staff Abilities as in the U10 version. I think I mentioned this in the description page, but did you read the description page? This weapon is called SpellGun which is in the form of a gun. It is a Staves category weapon that originally had the same functionality as the magic staff, which is primarily intended to be used for spells. I have long considered this weapon to be an ejection object with spells associated with it other than metal bullets. I have written "Dragon Stake Shooter" on this version of the weapon because it is a weapon that uses an event linker to spawn that projectile. You seem to have some knowledge of the BaS SDK since you wrote Spawning.
