I can't get this to work, someone really needs to upload a functional U12 mod publicly so we can have this function back. Honestly, it should be built into the game.
Internals over-reaches, it's janky and complicated and adds a bunch of other features that straight up break gameplay and immersion. We just need a simple standalone U12 survivable dismemberment mod.
For people who want this for u12, I'm not sure how it works there but the Internals mod gave me survivable dismemberment for u12, here's the link https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/8400
I haven't tested it out, but if you go into the "manifest.json" you should see this: { "Name": "SurvivableDismemberment", "Description": "Chop them off", "Author": "TotalConcentration", "ModVersion": "1.1", "GameVersion": "0.11.0.0" }
Change the "GameVersion" at the end to "0.12.0.0" and it should look like this: { "Name": "SurvivableDismemberment", "Description": "Chop them off", "Author": "TotalConcentration", "ModVersion": "1.1", "GameVersion": "0.12.0.0" } This works for a good few mods that only utilize scripting changes so it may work for this one, but again I'm not 100% sure. I will reply to the comment when I test it out to confirm.
this workaround is for mods that change something that hasnt been updated, it shouldnt work for survivable dismemberment because (according to the author) the devs changed how dismemberment worked so the mod would still be outdated

By the way: I hope this mod will be back in U12 soon. It's the best 'survivable dismemberment' mod. The other mods are buggy and not fun...
