got a cool idea: for V's staff it can be a normal hitting and stabbing weapon (like a bat with a pointy bit at the bottom) but if you stab and enemy and press the spell wheel button the turn to dust ( like the thanos snap mod)
or when they are low they become purple dust like in the game and from press spell and trigger on other hand to spawn lighting or a beast claw 50/50 chance
It doesn't happen with the base pistols in the elemental firearms mod, I can shoot them from any range aside from pressed against the enemies skin and they normally work perfectly fine outside of a few instances, but with Blue Rose I can't even do damage shooting from like, 10-15 feet away, sometimes even further then that its like the enemy is made of rubber they just flop over and bounce back into stance without any kind of damage.
yes the elemental firearms mods are pretty good but they are also made by fisher a master of firearm mods so for someone new to make guns its gonna be hard
I guess, I was just wandering if there was something I could edit in the json that might adjust the damagers enough that they actually work, I'm very new to json editing, as in I only learned how like 4 days ago from Jenix. So I'm just trying to learn new stuff about them, and I figured the best way to learn is to ask the general public, they're more knowledgable then I am. I find that my manner of speaking often comes off as insulting or disparaging but I don't mean it, its just how I talk
It's not really just the guns or the distance, it's also how the enemy counter system works. When you move your sword, their weapon moves in tandem to block it (or at least it's supposed to.) When you lift something with telekinesis, they'll focus on that and try to block or dodge it. I guess the game just treats the bullets like projectiles you throw with telekinesis and the game just goes "OH f*#@ IT" and denies the laws of physics by stretching the models and such. I've seen the bullets bounce off from ranges as short as a meter, to being across the bridge on the canyon stage. It's ridiculous and I hope that one day it all just works because GODDAMN IT'S SATISFYING WHEN IT WORKS

this is a well known B&S issue and it happens to almost all firearms mods
