The mod instructions have been updated to fix the ambiguity. You have to press in the jump button to initiate flight, using stick jump does not work.
In other words, you have to press the buttons that would be L3/R3 on normal controllers to initiate flight. This is because the movement for flight uses the jump thumbstick and so it'd be impossible to move upward were stick jump allowed.

Hey is anyone else having issue with moving forward with the spell cause I cant move fast no matter what speed I put. (I uninstalled the mod and then re installed it to see if that was the problem. didn't help) please help.
