Any news on potentially continuing your work with creating custom Star Wars "questing" maps once the sdk and outer rim is updated to 1.0? I loved playing them! I understand the Custom Avatar Framework mod doesn't seem likely to be updated to 1.0, but there are plenty of other cool mods that add in custom Star Wars characters. Either way, love your work!

I've been trying to get the glide hand animation to play, but can't get it to appear for more than a second or 2, I don't think the game likes the fact I changed the glide to hover and the animation doesn't know how to respond, but I will continue to tinker to see if I can make it happen.
Would you be able to do this with the other spells? I know it's not the same since gravity already had the hover part, but it would be sick to hover with fire or even lightning!
omg this was a thing!! there used to be a Static shock mod that did it (hover) with lightning and there was a fire mod that allowed hover or slow fall as well... miss those
I would totally love to add hover to the other spells, but haven't figured it out yet. Probably would require some coding on my part vs a simple json edit.

Do you have any other mods that affect the gravity spell or featherfall skill and could potentially conflict? 2. Did you install this mod manually or via Vortex/mod manager? I would recommend a manual install of this mod. 3. If installed manually, did you unzip and drag the GravityHover folder into the mods folder, or did you just drop the zip file into the mods folder? If you just dropped the zip into mods, it will not work.
If any other users can chime in if they are experiencing issues, that would help determine if this is just a one off issue.
1) I don't have any other mods that affect spells at all. There's not a ton out for 1.0 yet. This was the main mod I wanted, this and the mage hands. 2)Vortex, and i've tried reinstalling twice. I will try manual and give an update after that. 3)Will update after trying manual.
I figured out my issue, i'll leave my comment up in case others have the same issue. My Vortex is installing mods to my StreamingAssets folder not the Mods folder inside the StreamingAssets folder. A quick copy pasta fixed my issue. Fixing vortex. Thanks for helping me figure this out. I also had to manually fix my vortex to make it target the right file. in order to do so I went to "\Blade & Sorcery\BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets" and altered my "vortex.deployment.bas-legacy-modtype" JSON file to add "Mods" to the targetPath
Really, I had no idea lyneca had the same mod. Could you send me the link? I'm happy to take this one down if it is redundant. If you mean, the enhanced hover mod from lyneca, that was orginally posted on their discord in August 2022, while this mod was first uploaded on May 2022.
yknow, i feel like this could go beautifully if it was paired with wings. because the free up down movement is wonderful to have, and this doesnt really have it. neat idea tho
Yeah I agree with you, the vertical movement would be nice. The version version I made for U11 beta v1 was more of vertical flight thing, but it seemed like people wanted hover so changed it up. I could put the version that is more flight less hover as an optional file, but it seems like it is really one or the other, flight or hover. I can't really figure out how to give it both with just the vanilla spell and no extra coding. I haven't tried with wings mod yet so I'll have to give it a go!
