The spin attack wasn't realistic at all (Not saying it needs to be in a fantasy game), but it was just really silly in general, you couldn't parry (and have the knockpack effect) any of the spin attacks from my knowledge, these seem a bit more fitting for the game, they just need to be an opening attak that accours once in a while, instead of it being so often, which I believe they're somewhat working on
Pretty sure that what happens is that rn they have a pool of attacks and they random one out of it, but when they're far away the pool is 1/1 with the jump attack so it always pick the same.
to me ya they do pull a random one but some attacks may have a greater chance on being exectued based on the postion and distance away from the player they are at.
Any chance you could include an option to remove enemy dodges? It's really annoying how they just blink away when I swing at them. There's a ton of complaints about it on the subreddit so you'd make a lot of people happy.
theres many ways to counter this and it makes sence it add more of a real sence into the game. it make you think of what your next move will be without blindly make a desicion. For example stun your enemys with kicks and parrys you can do this in vanilla but there is a mod called dark souls parrying https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/4890 witch if you can do a good parry on a enemys attck they will be stuned theres two version one will knock them down the other just stuns them for a couple of seconds enoght time to make you move. In general if you don't want you enemy to lunge away don't poke out you sword at them and make fast and desicive strikes [use a rapier for more pericering if you dont have a mod like butter stabs or if you have armor detection on] or you know just kick them to stun them.
either way i respect you opinion it can be annoying so i understand, so you either get a customed to the game mechanics or wait for a mod like it last thing i can recommend for easy attacking is butter stabs https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/2787 you can now slice, poke, jab, gash and stab throught enemys like butter have fun out there i wish you the best of luck and a good day
if you stopped using this mode but still want something to counter the times where they actually jump attack... Ive seen a dark souls parry mod that only parries if you counter with enough velocity, EXCEPT jump attacks, they're a 100 percent chance parry cuz the enemy goes too fast lmao
I dont mind actualy that they do that but i hate that its so buggy most of the time when i block the jumping atack my weapon freezes and then glitches out of my hand.
