My tiny complaint is nonfatal dismemberment should be off by default because this mod's main feature is better decapitation. Why is the second bit even part of this mod?
There was a mod that made it so when you cut off an enemies arm that is holding a weapon (the right arm) they would go into retreat mode and run away also if you cut their leg they would go into and stay in rag doll mode which basically made them do the falling animation on the ground. If somehow that functionality has been removed from the SDK in the 1.0 update, you could also lock the enemies in the stunned animation or alternatively, based on your preference, you could use the fear animation. My best guess for how the leg decapitation in the previous mod worked is that When one is chopped off it triggers the falling animation which loops continuously until death. I hope this helps to encourage you to improve this mod, it is already quite good, but with these improvements I think it can become practically essential.
Thank you for making the source code available on Github so i could make a fork, it was bothering me i couldn't use non fatal legs cuts when using mods like SimulatedLiving which makes enemies unable to stand up if their legs are cut, but now i've made it a toggle in the menu. <3
So far the decapitation element is perfect, but for some reason, whenever I slice an arm off, the npc automatically dies even though the mod is downloaded. Is there something I could be doing wrong?
