So after playing with this, I will say that I'm exited for the collapse update. I also want you to notice a couple things as well:

Firstly, the black staff is incapable of spawning, whenever I spawn I can the sound of it flying in the air, but I can see or feel it.

Secondly, the physics on the staff are a bit janky. Its fine with solid non moving objects, but when hitting the staff on someone, it hits them, then phases right through them.

Lastly, the handling is also a bit wobbly. It twists your arm and forces the staff to go in weird directions.

I don't have the intention of calling you a bad modder or that this mod sucks. I love and I believe its able to be so much potential. Thank you for doing all these mods, it is amazing.

Thanks for the feedback , I will look into why thats happening ,
I dont recall seeing it on my end , do you mean spawn as in the Take command where it spawns in your hand ?
I tend to always just spawn my weapons to ensure they dont bug out when they drop.

It is less Janky if you use it in both hands ... pretty much all 2 handed weapons feel jank to me ... even base game 2 handers.
I fixed this a bit by doubling up the colliders and swapping from capsule colliders to box colliders.
Might need to make them a little bigger than the staff itself. sometimes colliders get funky when smaller than a certain radius.

That may be due to the end colliding with the ground.
or if you are using it 1 handed ... cant figure this one out.
It should be mass and drag dependent for the 2 handed weapons being slower but I tweaked it so that it feels good in 2 hands but I cant get it to act like a normal staff 1 handed. ( feel free to edit the drag / mass setting in the json and if you find a sweet spot please report back. )

I can do staff spins IRL  but Ingame no matter what 2 hander I use it has an odd 'weight' distribution.
It is intentional to make weapons feel like they weigh more ... but I think its not just mass dependent ... I think size of model scales something.
I would like to figure this one out. If you low gravity it you will see it moves better ... but I reduced mass and no luck beyond the better handling from my early iterations to now.

Thanks for replying it means a lot. I do mostly 2 handed, but at the same time I also do a little on handed. For the black staff, I tried both spawning and taking it but to no avail. Other than that I have nothing to say but thanks.
