Hey! Just thought I'd let you know that Custom Avatar Framework just got updated to allow dismemberment! You would have to update your mod though to enable it, I would appreciate it if you would look into it and see if it's something you could possibly add!

Would appreciate it if you could make it so that the fellow isn't an actual item, it keeps fucking up my bag of holding when it tries to spawn him next (you can tell by the shadow that it's him in there)

I put it in the mods folder, same as I do for all B&S mods. The waves appear in the book, but the NPCs appear as normal bald men in their underwear.

Edit: Downloaded the Custom Avatar Framework and got it working. You should mention that it's required somewhere in the description.

I'm not looking for a tutorial, but I'm curious:

If I download a model from say, DeviantArt that already has bones included, how convoluted is it to make it appear in BAS? I know the text files would control how the model acts and whatnot, but I'm more curious about how difficult it is to make models even show up in the first place. There's tons of characters I'd want, but would rather try them myself then expect people to make them for me.

P.S. - Nice anubii (presumably the plural form of anubis)

at first its pretty tough, you have to assign the bones in the model in unity to the pre-assigned bones that the BnS SDK has in it (in unity still), that part takes about 30 minutes give or take, the worst part is then you open up the model in the game and see how smashed into pudding it is and then having to change the x y z coordinates for each bone to face forward, or more less untangling the whole damn thing WHILE IN GAME. while doing this you write down the coordinate that work for each bone, then you go back into the JSON file and manually type in the x y z coordinate for each bone. to be sure it is not a pleasure cruise. however it gets easier because you start to see that their is a pattern with the x y z and you think ahead and make the connection that certain bones have to be set or turn in a specific way. so the anubis took an hour to do actually where has the mummy took a day lol

Ah, very insightful. Thanks for the response. Maybe the next time I feel unreasonably inspired to mod, I'll give it a shot!
