!FOR THE PEOPLE ENCOUNTERING ISSUES INSTALLING THE MOD! !THIS APPEARS TO APPLY TO EVERY MOD THE CREATOR HAS PUT OUT! You are most likely encountering an "Invalid manifest.json file" error, as shown here.
This error is caused due to a syntax error in the manifest.json file. Fortunately fixing this issue is quite simple.
STEP 1: Once you've downloaded the files, open the mod archive, by right-clicking the mod and selecting open.
STEP 2: Navigate to the manifest.json file.
STEP 3: Open the manifest.json file with any text editor (Notepad works as well for this) and simply make sure, that there are no blank rows in there.
As you can see, there is a blank row at the 4th line. Delete the blanks. To fix this issue, it should look something like this:
STEP 4: Save the file and update the archive, by clicking yes. (My windows' language is set to Finnish)
After the manifest.json file has been corrected, it will allow you to install it without a hitch.
Hey sorry for not responding to any of these comments for months, I haven't been able to use my pc for awhile. When i'm off work i'll go see if I can fix the errors in the manifest which are most likely because I copy and pasted the description of the weapon from google instead of typing it out.
Neither this weapon or the ringed knight spear appear in game. I've tried both manually and through vortex, but its never there. If anyone knows what the problem is then please help because these weapons look cool
Invalid manifest.json error. I attempted download through both Vortex and Manual paths, but no cigar. This issue might be beyond my power to fix it, so an update from the mod's author would be appreciated.
I just installed and deployed Fisher's Auto-Imbue Frame Work, but neither the Ringed Sword's original nor Weapon Art files are allowing to install. Same error: "invalid manifest.json file".
Thank you for the feedback! For rn i'm working on getting other weapons into here and eventually learn and implement weapon arts after I make the weapons.
