If you'd add Vortex support for this mod I'd DEFINITELY try it out; I've seen much WORSE looking fantasy weapons before, and I'd say you've done a decent job. I DO think you could make the big axe's haft a bitt thicker though, to make it look sturdier, AND like it'd fit comfortably in the hands.
Alright; Vortex's been working for ME for the most part. I don't like installing mods manually because it's WAY harder to update and uninstall them than it needs to be. Now then, let's test it if it's available.
Edit: that's REALLY wierd; I downloaded Nocturnus just TODAY and it was working just FINE when I was using it, but the INSTANT I install this mod, it says NOCTURNUS is incompatible with Blade and Sorcery. What the Hell?
How to delete mods manually: Go to mods folder -> Use your eyes to find the desired mod folder -> Click ONCE on the mod folder -> look down at your keyboard and press the delete key -> Done! How to update mods manually: download updated mod from nexus -> drag the new mod into your mods folder -> look at your monitor and press replace when prompted -> Done!
When you are finally able to compete these steps a whole world of not broken mods opens up for you and you don't have to beg modders to add Vortex support!
@mondomau, because there's no bold option, I type some words in all caps to communicate EMPHASIS.
@EmClear, I tested it, and the Vortex thing DOES in fact work; but having seen the Demon of the Mist's proportions, I'm not really a fan, ESPECIALLY when the OTHER weapons are MORE realistically proportioned for the most part. Even STEADFAST is better proportioned, and it's basically a toothed SLEDGEHAMMER.
@Swizzyyyyy, DON'T be a jackass; mod managers exist for a REASON. If you have LOTS of mods installed, you can go LOOKING for its file, and it'll STILL be hidden from you through sheer NUMBERS; mod managers make it TONS easier to actually FIND them as WELL as update and uninstall them, making mods MUCH more accessible.
@Thjori I found a simple solution to your non existent problem. Open mods folder -> use eyes to look for the search bar -> look down and use the keyboard in front of your eyes to type in the letters that correspond to your desired mod -> hit the enter key -> Done! Instead of bitching and making up excuses how about trying what others are suggesting without immediately writing them off alright?
@Swizzyyyyy I told you, I have tried it; it didn't work for me. And I wasn't bitching, I felt a tone in how you wrote what you did that said to me "he's just being a jackass"; if that's not what you meant, I apologize for my misunderstanding.
And finally, I'm glad to know there is in fact a bold option.
Do the enchantments do something on these weapons or is it just for the aesthetic? I tried some of them but I wasn't able to see any difference from normal weapons
Hiya! Just tested out a few of the weapons. I'll try out the rest later, but I wanted to give my feedback while it was still fresh in my mind. The shield of the Dragon is gorgeous. It handles brilliantly too. The sword of Dawn looks cool, but handles a bit clunkily, IMO. Deceit both handles and looks awesome. I love the subtlety of the effect. The Guardian sword is my favorite so far. It looks bad ass and works beautifully. Holdfast is my second favorite. It's balanced very well for such a weighty weapon and is amazing for putting big, satisfying dents in peoples' armor. The sword of the lost hero is a fun little blade. The Demon of the Mist looks incredible but I had a bit of an issue with it getting stuck in people. It might have something to do with also having Sectory installed. That's as far as I got tonight. I'll let you know what I think when I try out the rest. So far, I'm really enjoying your mod.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! It really helps me in making mods for the future. I had written a long response to your post about the weapons, but my PC blue screened and I lost it all, so I will get back to you on that later.
