HitScan/RayCast System
To configure or toggle the HitScan system for close-range shots, edit the following values in 'settings.json': "useHitscan": true, "hitscanMaxDistance": 1.0
'useHitscan' can be either true or false, and 'hitscanMaxDistance' is how close (in meters) you must be for the system to activate.
You can also control the HitScan system for individual items by adding these fields to the module of those firearms.
If the mod is not working for you, review this checklist:
You have copied the mod folder(s) into \Blade & Sorcery\BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods\
Additional Troubleshooting Tips:
If you have checked the above list, and you still have issues such as "?" or infinite loading screens:
Delete your Save Game data from: %USERPROFILE%/Documents/My Games/BladeAndSorcery/Saves
Remove all mods, then launch the game to see if the mods were the culprit. Then keep adding the mods back in one-by-one until you find the problematic mod.
Still not working?
Load the game, try to use the mod, then exit the game. Upload your player.log from this location provide it attached to a bug report: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\WarpFrog\BladeAndSorcery\Player.log
Ghetto05's firearms pack is actually way better tbh, more guns, customization, explosives. I feel like you haven't tried out his latest one and are just judging his first mod. If so then I def suggest his V2 Firearms pack
It all depends on what you value for a gun mod. Ghetto05's mods have improved (I know cause I use it). But when it comes to the modular feel of a gun, its still not to the same feeling as Fishers. Again, it all depends on what you like more. This is just for me.
Never start your point with "I feel like......". You tend to be more wrong than right if you're guessing on feelings. Just ask directly. Assumptions are unnecessary.
what do you mean you cant delete it? if you remove the file from the mods folder it should just *poof* but incase it just broke there is only one thing that might work sometimes when i go to put in a mod i put in the mod into another mod folder and it just goes into it i dont know if it would still work but maybe look around in your mods and the folder for it might be hiding in one of them good luck deleting it
I've downloaded this multiple times and tried to make it work in multiple different ways but I can't seem to get it to work, I'm using U11 on Nomad and i've downloaded both this and modular firearms but it either gets stuck loading the game on 35% or doesn't show up in the book where you spawn stuff. I put it in the mods folder and removed all other mods but it doesn't work. Is there something I missed?
