So when I increased my strength to 50 (using a manual install), it made weapon handling worse instead of better? And when I installed the mod with vortex it didn't even work?
P.S. Hyped to see this working, and to see what else y'all have up your sleeves.
So, i downloaded this mod, and the weapon handling was worse. All the weapons were heavier and barely usable. I figured if I leveled up, the strength stat would make them lighter. I couldn't find the levels, and killing enemies didn't do anything. I uninstalled the mod, and weapons were still heavy. Uninstalled the game and all my mods, and redownloaded the game. They were all still heavy. I don't know if I did something wrong? I used Vortex to install this. I'm gonna delete the game and all the files next, but... yeah, thought I'd at least report the issue because I don't think it's supposed to happen. In the end, I'll just say I like the IDEA of this mod.
tried that. new update, it seems like my character is heavy too. Climbing barely works as my character drops like he weighs 400 pounds. I deleted all save data and options (cause idk if i may have accidently ruined something) but if that doesn't work, I have no idea what to do
this is just the way the mod works, the point is you start off worse and fight to get better. You can just change the stats to how you like in the .json file called statsave so you can be like level 60
i downloaded the mod and leveled up a bit. It seems random when my punches decide to work. Sometimes i one shot the enemies and sometimes i cant even hurt them.
I downloaded the mod and changed all the levels to 50 and didn't notice anything different until I started a classic 1v1 fight. The enemies had a ton of health. Enough health to live through me slitting their throats many times, turning them into unicorns by stabbing them in the head with a knife, stabbing them in the heart and me shooting 50 arrows at them. Oh and I couldn't forget me literally throwing them across the map. Now it was all fun for a bit but I still had no idea why I didn't have any of the perks to having 50 levels on all stats so does anyone know what I should do to fix this?
Definitely didn't install it right. This makes creatures have more HP for injury, which I should definitely remove as most people don't like, but stats should definitely make a difference.
I love more HP for the enemies its just that my enemies took way too much to die. But I'm not sure how I messed up the installation I mean all I did was click install to vortex.
I was thinking of a perk for the main release of B&S the other day, but seeing as this has come up I can suggest it here..
Can you have a talent or perk or whatever that you can unlock that, if you parry an enemies attack, you get slow motion for a second or two, and this doesn't deplete from your actual focus level.
Oh and do you guys plan to release other increments of the mod like you have here ? Like a dungeon to play through or a small section of map just to get an idea or a taste of actual gameplay in B&S.
My worry is that the actual update 9 for the game comes out supposedly in the next 2 months,
Update 9 (Target: Q4 2020) - Dungeon (Adventure) mode - Buying weapons and armors (shop) - Skills tree - Inventory and looting - Two handed weapon support for NPC - New spell: Soul - Improved AI (better animations, patrolling, field of view...) - New weapons and armors (low and high tiers)
so are we likely to see anymore of this before then ?
While i don't wanna be pessimistic, i doubt that U9 is gonna come out in the next 2 months, i would love if it did but they're working on U8.4 rn and i doubt they'd get both of em out in 2 months
I in no way want you to rush this mod because I cannot imagine how complex it must be, but with that being said I was wondering if you and your team have an estimated date on when the procedurally generated RPG world elements may be coming?
Yo, great mod, but I got a question. After playing for about 20min most of my stats went up as I would expect, but my physical jump or whatever its called skyrocketed and I can jump like 20 feet in the air. im not sure what boosts jump height, but I think that physical jump exp gain should be reduced a bit. { "magicEfficiencyLvl": 2, "magicDamageLvl": 1, "physicalSpeedLvl": 3, "physicalJumpLvl": 15, "combatStrengthLvl": 7, "combatHealthLvl": 7, "miscFocusLvl": 1, "combatRangedLvl": 5, "survivalLvl": 1, "magicEfficiencyExp": 7.0049777, "magicDamageExp": 1.2, "physicalSpeedExp": 26.2602787, "combatStrengthExp": 69.06793, "physicalJumpExp": 13.2954216, "combatHealthExp": 0.0, "miscFocusExp": 4.706121, "combatRangedExp": 6.0, "survivalExp": 0.0 }
