Here have the Weapons Updated for U9 U9.2 U9.3 They can Return , Imbue but not Collapse Yet But I had to Completely rework dependencies due to Davi not updating weapons effects from u8.3 so I went with piepop101's dependency but to not clog this one up with new dependencies I made it under a new mod page
I plan to work on getting the collapse working again , but its alot more involved now... So I thought Id release so you can play with stuff while I try to get that working.
Nice mod, but the magic fuel feature is unnecessary. it adds nothing, and it just makes transformation take longer.
i wanted to retract the staff, stick my hand around the persons shield, then expand it to attack, but that would require 2 magic infusions and much more time than if it did not require magic "fuel".
The only suggestion i could make is to have a version that does not require magic as a fuel.
I don't think it would work in that way anyway because it doesn't actually extend. It would probably just glitch through the person. I do agree that a magicless one could be cool but you probably wouldn't be able to use it in that way anyway
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1BjuQwwNEk @thedragontamer1 incorrect. all its doing here is switching models out. the magic feature is very unnecessary. this link is another mod he made.
Ok, will respond. you both are a little right. it sort of works with riptide but glitches when extended into something. however the limiting factor is the dependency mod has Issues transforming things classified as a staff.
to make it work without an imbue I wouldn't be able to have it act as a staff. if people are interested in a non staff variant A change of the json would be all thats necessary.
People Showed Interest in Having this Function more like my Riptide mod and to forgo the spell imbue dependency. To do this It looses its ability to gravity slam. (the 'Weapon Effects mod' doesn't like staffs) (transform with button press only)
Really cool mod concept but after playing it for a couple minutes I noticed some things
1.I noticed that it had to be gravity that fueled the transformation and not just any enchant. Not sure if that's on purpose or not but I'm good with that
2. My hands were kinda being a bit funky. When I was swinging it around it would sometimes move in strange ways and not actually hit the target
3. When I was hitting stuff I noticed that about half the time the staff would go through the object
All in all it's a good idea for a mod I just think it needs a bit of polish. I'd be totally down to help test out some newer versions if you're wanting to update it and stuff. Keep up the good work
O , I didnt notice the going thru things when I tested it ... thats not good.
Think thats due to mass and drag and its size ... I reduced so you could 1 hand it but it does feel better 2 handing it.
thank you for the kind words , it was my first time using a dependency, so a little bit of a challenge =) Im gonna sleep now , thank you for downloading testing and providing feedback <3
ill look into it and see if I can fix the funkyness ... might be due to size but we shall see.
