outer rim added in custom weapons but from what ive seen the code is really copy paste like changing enemies to the thing you created with thier assets and weapons.
This will not work on U8. It's a big change with everything lol I'm still going through the transitioning phase with all of my stuff so it may take a little bit to get everything updated.
I've encountered something weird, when i look at VERY specific enemies in the battlefield my game's fps drops and it starts to lag insanely , once i look away from that 1 enemy, the game is fine. I don't know what causes it but it seems to happen only with waves added by this mod and i thought i'd let you know :) great mod btw, love the idea of fighting monsters instead of humans
I've tested summoning only 1 (using the necromancer mod that lets you summon an ally/enemy of a creature you want) and sometimes it lags, sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't seem to be related to number of enemies but to a specific enemy that is alive, can't figure out what makes this 1 enemy so different though
If you are installing it manually then you don't have the program that can unpack the folder. I recommend getting winzip or winrar either one will resolve this issue with all the mods for B&S (aside from ones that are outdated or not uploaded correctly). I recommend doing some research to see which one will work best for you.

(IT looks really nice but i'd be haunted in my dreams seeing that in VR, nice work tho)
