I made the map, the link is in the Discord until I remake the assets since they are ripped from BF2. https://discordapp.com/channels/327809947272478720/620342560925155329/645792452376133640
I would really love to see maybe an order 66 game mode where you and a bunch of clones have to kill the Jedi or the other way around. Also(This isn't a big deal)the light saber that Vader uses is not his. Overall this is an amazing mod, thank you.
I'll add that in the next update, and I forgot about the lightsaber, when I first made this mod, Vader kept spawning with two sabers so i had to switch out one to do testing, forgot to change it back
So i did a lot of testing with Clones versus Jedi/Sith, and the clones wipe the jedi out every time within seconds, unless there is a way to make the Jedi deflect blaster bolts its pretty pointless making these kinds of waves :/
Check the video i uploaded, I decreased the blaster bolt velocity to make them easier too deflect. To do that follow these steps; 1. Open Vortex, scroll to The Outer Rim mod, right click it then, 'Open in File Manager' 2. Outer Rim files will open in Windows Explorer, navigate to the Outer Rim>Items 3. Right click and open with Notepad++ the 5 blaster files e.g.Item_Blaster_DL-44,Item_Blaster_DC-17 4. Press Ctrl + F to search for "Bullet Velocity", the default unit is '3500' for most blasters and '10000' for the Cycler Rifle, change the units too '1250' for standard blasters, set CyclerRifle to 5000 (These blaster bolts have bullet drop over distance so you cant put it to the same units as the others or the bolt will only flow a couple feet before hitting the ground). 5. If you have Vortex open then close it, and reopen, it may ask you to Save changes to the mod, if it does then click save changes, if it doesnt then its no big deal, it should still work. 6. Open the game and enjoy
You can set the bullet force to anything you want, i have found that 1250 seems to be the best, especially when facing more than 1 Trooper, any lower is too slow, any higher is overwhelming when youre facing more than 1/2 eneimes at once.
Ensure you only have 1 installation of The Outer Rim mod, open the main folder of the Outer Rim mod, open 'Items' folder, then edit the blasters files, you need to change the Bullet Velocity on each of the Blasters individually.
**EDIT** I forgot to mention you need the Knight Training Outer Rim Addon mod to make it easier to deflect blaster bolts. I added it to the requirements list for the mod. Without this mod facing enemies with Blasters would be difficult, and being able to deflect the bolts easily is half the fun
