Couldn't tell if these were features, bugs, or me not understanding something, but I encountered a bunch of weird occurrences: During the Golem fight, my mana randomly stopped regenerating, and I couldn't turn it on again My mana didn't scale with the spell casting. I was using modded armor, tho, that might be why but I had 5 spell casting and only 76 mana Equipping a staff or in my case naa boosted my mana from 80 to 152, and putting it away dropped it down to 80 again
Also, just some recommendations: Make the max mana adjustor a slider because adjusting it by tenths is really inconvenient and takes 10 years. Also, make the mana drain on something like gravity hover way slower. Making more of the adjustments available in the mod menu would be nice too
Holding a staff boosts mana because it also boosts your spellcasting stat, and you are able to edit everything in the options file.
I just took a look at modded armours and the golem, I can't recreate either. I use the base game spellcasting multiplier, so If some sets incorrectly add it, I can't do much. But I'd be interested to know more about the golem
I think it was right when I got electrocuted by his full body field. I have Arcana installed, which adds some golem behaviours that might affect it, so I'll try uninstalling it. I'm using the shattered thief armor, and if it's incorrectly set up could I manually change it?
EDIT: I've been playing a bit more and it doesn't just happen with the golem, it'll happen randomly. I think it has something to do with the staff, because when I pull it out it resumes regenerating but at the default rate and not the custom, faster rate I set it to. Then when I put it away it'll start rapidly going down again while I'm not casting and not regenerate.
Found the problem. If you enchant a staff and holster it, it will drain your mana for some reason, even after you pull it out. You have to enchant the staff again to full and use up the enchantment outside of the holster and then it works again, at least for me.
