i do this as a hobby, i don't wanna learn something to make other people happy. I just make these low-end mods for fun, or to waste time. I really couldn't care what people think of me on this platform or expect of me - if it's a mod of mine that's broken, I'll fix it. until then, idc
Just curious, this hobby can be more fun if you extend your knowledge rather than just editing files. But hey I am not here to criticize mods, my first mod was a json mod and it sucked. Do your thing but don't go being a douche to people who do constructive criticism. Nexus mods is pretty strict if they see something they don't like they will do something about it. This is just advice I am not going at you for doing your thing, I am just give a heads up.
i understand what you're saying however most of the commenters on this site comment hate like "f*#@ you, this mod sucks, quit making JSON edits and calling the mods" and when I call them out for it and respond with hate back, they fallback and call it "critism" like they're in the right. Ngl though it's hilarious seeing people get so pressed and jump in to defend the attacker when I respond, and do anything in their way to try and offend it - it just makes me laugh seeing how much I can get under people's skin.
However, if it's genuine critism such as "hey, maybe you could add this, or fix this, or maybe remove this because blah blah blah", I'll more than likely do that suggestion. for example, look at @Thjori 's comment - it's genuine critism that doesn't unnecessarily take a jab of hate at the mod or me. I can see where you're coming from when you say "expand your knowledge", and I've tried Unity and I honestly couldn't be fucked to make a mod with such effort just for people to say "THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE IN U12!!!1!1!!!1" or something completely stupendous like that
HOWEVER!! HOWEVER!! I've been thinking about actually learning Unity and putting in effort to make custom crystals/spell icons/ect for my Warbidden Sorcery mod -- but thanks for the heads up, man. I appreciate it.
Can you add a piercing damager to the spike on top of that cross symbol on altars & temple roofs? I've wanted to impale enemies on that thing as a brutal human sacrifice style kill, blood for the blood god (not literally) & all that, but even though it has a very acute, very sharp point, I can't do it because it doesn't have any piercing damagers.
it makes the enviroment, like the arena spikes penetrate easier and do more damage and the boulders/rocks/pebbles deal more realistic damage however I'm gonna overhaul the rest of the items in the game and props to be more realistic
