suuuuper fun enemy variety, the repeating crossbow dude is the most terrifying enemy I've fought, the general is a really well made boss that properly punishes over aggression, the dual-wielding fire crystal and nanomachine body crystal dudes are also great melee threats.
annnd the armor is really nicely balanced on the regular dudes, not as strong as plate but will still bounce half-azzed strikes, integration with two-handed weaponry combined with reasonably speedy AI makes even the regular troops a blast to fight against as well (and makes the spear users a genuine long-ranged melee threat).
dare I say this may be the best b&s content mod in general? of course we have outer rim and MMP, but this feels closest to vanilla, well-balanced, has a little bit of everything without being overbearing, and adds just the right spice to AI while exploring some new enemy concepts that could easily fit into the regular game... all combined with solid looking assets too.
