your mods are the greatest. cant wait to try this out too
btw, a suggestion to you, you can combine all of these mods to make ASOIAFMP (A Song of Ice and Fire MegaPack), i think it would be so good (and also make it easier do download all of the content at its best)
Yeah, I would kill for a way to have all your dungeon faction options selectable from in game. Maybe take a look at how HuJohner's Ethnicity works? He does that for the factions he made.
I don't have a clue myself how backend stuff works.
These mods are always visually impressive and I love that you've started incorporating them into dungeons. I do have a couple things to note though:
- On a lot of the armors(especially the Kings Guard pack you did) the hitboxes are very inaccurate, making it damn near impossible to hit through gaps in the armor. - The file names are often copy pasted or just named "oathkeeper". I assume because you copied the txt files from the oathkeeper mod you did, but it does make it really confusing to make alterations to the mods. - None of the swords have half-swording capabilities, would be nice to see that implemented either natively or by adding the half-swording mod as a dependency. -Some of the handlers, especially on the swords are a bit offset, in the sense that you can slide the hand into the guard.
All that said, I really love these mods, just a few quality-of-life things I'd love to see changed so they can really stand out!
All swords are compatablibe with the half swording framework! also the hitboxes are like that for increased difficulty. Thanks so much for the support!!
Unless it's an incompatibility of some kind on my end, quite a few of them do not do half-swording. I get the increased difficulty and all, but I feel like it takes away from the quality of the armor. Landing a perfect thrust in the gaps of the armor and seeing your weapon just slide off anyway is *really* unsatisfying. Great when I am wearing it myself haha, but quite uh, unimmersive - if that's even a word - when fighting someone else wearing it.
do you have the halfswording mod? i can try to work on the id maps but cant promise they will be perfect i dont want them to be easy or to difficult but ill see what i can do, this is just the first version and will def be updated a bunch haha.
Oh don't get me wrong, I love the mods you've been making. I just feel like what makes VR, truly a VR experience, is the immersion. It's all the little things, like how your hand grips the sword, or how it interacts with the armor you strike it against. Also yea I have the halfswording mod, if you need me to I can go check which of the swords it doesn't work on, cuz atm I cannot recall exactly which ones I noticed it on.
