in descending order of feasibility, I have a Wishlist of features for a leviathan axe mod. 1 (most feasible) enemy lock on for recall [the leviathan axe can target an enemy between itself and the player's hand on it's way back] 2 headshot flare, a certain skill point in the 2018 GOW gives a damage bonus when the player throws the axe and lands a headshot... when this happens the axe will rise directly upward and flash, [at the point of the flash is when the player is supposed to recall the axe for the damage bonus] I really only care about the bounce and flash, has a really great rhythm to it. 3 (least feasible) axe head embed guaranteed! in the game, it doesn't matter how far away the player is from the nearest surface [or face]. the axe always lands with the head embedded. I have an idea that might work. but I really don't have a clue how modding works with B&S so bare with me. I imagine that you could calculate how fast the axe should rotate based on how fast it's moving paired with how close the nearest surface is (maybe a ray-cast pointed in the direction of travel??) like I said, no understanding of how modding works in B&S, just an Idea I'd implement if this was Dreams on the ps4.
I won't blame you if you never ever even consider adding these features, this is just what I'd love to see in a mod with the beautiful leviathan axe!
Hmm, for some reason this mod is causing my game to crash on launch. However, I think it's actually because I have too many mods installed. I'll update this comment if I discover the conflict.
The spin throw is perfect and the axe looks beautiful, but a homing system that would lock onto an enemy would be great because it feels a bit awkward to throw.
This mod is great. I have no idea how you managed it, but the spin effect on the from is so awesome. The only small problem I have, is that the sounds are a bit weird and most of the time it's silent when you push in someone's chest. Great mod though!
