I am working on an entirely different mod that - thanks to Palpatine's help understanding Unity - will be a base animation overhaul for big weapons and some base stances on top of what Enhanced Enemies does.
Ez Parry version will not exist because it will be a merged with the base version to include the AI chaining after being parried, while also having some unblockables that do not chain and have knockback. Currently, the mod won't include spear enemies.

Sorry for how long its been, but its going fine. Having a big issue with the brain changes currently and I took a long break as I'm sure you can tell. I'll try to work on it more if I can.
I see that this was updated before 1.0.4, does this do bad things that Baron alluded to in the patchnotes or does it work fine/overwrite the AI completely enough that it doesn't matter?
Ty! Currently trying my best with this mod as I mostly enjoy focusing and testing the AI in games and this is really my first real mod. I'm not sure what to name the next mod but it will probably have a parody version of Palpatine's mod images for fun.
with the latest update i’m not sure if it’s just me but the changes to parrying are messing up something, when parrying with my weapon it will randomly kind of get stuck in place for a moment and just in general parrying doesn’t seem to work at all even with a shield.. i am using fromsoftware parrying so idk if it’s incompatible but id love to be able to use it along side this
Yeah, this seems to happen a lot due to the amount of force the npcs are using, (at least from what it looks like) and sometimes it feels cool as long as it isn't too repetitive. The parrying thing was intentional, to make you want to use shields more to block and then riposte when its safer. Riposting with a sword is still possible. It really all comes down to your preference, so I'll make a couple different versions of the mod when I fully finish all three stances.
Thank you. Try to get used to the stuck in place issue, sometimes it feels nice because it feels like a bit of time to think of how to riposte (as long as it doesn't bug out much).
Oh, sorry. Was too busy working on everything else, but everything works perfectly and the error is nothing, probably unused by Warpfrog. There aren't supposed to be settings yet, not entirely sure how to make them but I might later on. I can promise the error won't be there next update if its that annoying.
Does this mod only work for vanilla waves? Just watched the preview video after using this mod for a while and realized my enemies from the Armorless Waves mod (all I fight) are nothing like that video.
It should work for all since it configures enemies' stances. Are they changed at all in any noticeable way? The video was sort of recorded in a Pre-alpha-mega-beta type stage of 1.3, so it may have been slightly different in very subtle ways.
Edit: The enemies may be using weapons they can't thrust with, and enemies in the video were only using weapons they CAN thrust with. Next update I may include a way to make enemies thrust with every weapon besides axes or maces, or make a custom stance with them where they can only use specific, slower thrusts with custom knockback.
