This mod currently completely breaks combat and is entirely unusable.
Hopefully the author can get around to fixing it sometime, but for now, it's unfortunately the confirmed cause of enemies standing still and not fighting at all. It also seems to be the cause of enemies warping around and disappearing.
This mod was made when 1.0 was fresh and still had a problem with NPCs being up in your face. Since then, the devs have patched this issue themselves, and thus this mod is obsolete.
This is verifiably wrong; enemies are still constantly up in my face or way too close to fight properly on the latest version of the game. It's incredibly annoying.
I recommend to delete this mod for now. This is a great mod, but right now it breaks movement. The NPCs stand still, it sucks but it is what it is until it gets updated.
this mod MIGHT (i have not tested yet) be the culprit for anyone having a problem with their enemies standing still and not really doing anything as a result of the new 1.0.4 update revamping the AI. also this mod is pretty much redundant now
Thanks for this mod, makes "realistic" roleplaying style combat viable. No more bump and grinding. Only issue is that axe wielders (only dual axe?) are super timid. Maybe need their animation distance tweaked?
I think they literally JUST put out a patch like 30 minutes ago that fixes it (as of 7/4/2024, 4:51PM EST,GMT-4). EDIT: Mb, they didn't patch it, but they did fix some other stuff.

Only issue is that axe wielders (only dual axe?) are super timid. Maybe need their animation distance tweaked?
