I'm clearly doing something wrong. For some reason the auto collect only happens while I'm either at home or at Baron's. Additionally, if i take out valuables from my inventory mid mission, it also works on them, but anything already staged in the level is not affected. Was wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue, or if maybe there's a known bug/mod conflict.
I encountered an issue where crystal shards are auto-looted and disappear but the number doesn't actually increase. Also coins are not auto looted it seems.
Sadly this mod bugs out the Crystal Core at the end of a boss fight. You place the crystal and select your upgrade (in my case fire). Once it's done converting to a fire crystal, it gets sucked into my chest and, because I never actually picked it up, the teleporter didn't get activated. Therefore I was forced to go back home without my crystal as it counts as a failure.
I think this could be a nice mod, but it felt as though it worked for the things I didn't want it to work for (@home, elemental crystals) and didn't work for the things I wanted it to work for (none of the loot from chests got sucked in, only breakables loot seemed affected)
Have to toggle the mod off under the settings, take the completed crystal out of your inventory, and put it back in the macguffin for a second or two until the pad lights up. Even without the mod if you take the crystal too fast the teleporter won't fire up and you have to put it back for a second.
This is why having it automatically toggle off at "Home" isn't sufficient for this particular issue imo. Removing crystal cores from the pull list entirely would solve the issue with them.
for me placing the crystal back in the upgrader fixed it (in the unmodded version) i once took the crystal instantly, making the teleporting not work, when i placed the crystal back and took it off, the portal triggered. Maybe that helps
when mod is activated any automatically picked up currency crystals don't get counted and wont increase the total. i know it's not just the ones that drop from the extra loot mod cause i disabled it and when i picked up a currency crystal manually it increased my total.
or they haven't noticed. i only saw cause of a fluke when it auto picked one up while my inventory was open and i saw the count didn't increase. if it weren't for that I'd probably still be blissfully unaware
This just needs a "Disabled when home" toggle and a "Dont suck up Dalgarian Skill tree crystals" toggle lol but all in all managable! <3 thank you once again for a great B&S mod!!!
Specifically came here to ask about this lol. I thought I had a broken save and restarted fresh because my skill cores had all vanished. +1 on both but especially taking skill tree crystal cores out of the collection pool or adding a toggle for them.
Wanted to say thanks for this awesome QoL Mod, was wondering if you'd consider having a function to automatically turn the mod off in the store and the home if that's at all possible, would be a perfected mod that way imo, even still, I'm fine with Disable/enabling when I'm at the store/home.
Appreciate the mod, and the disable function that must be recent judging by the other comments. A few notes:
Anything above a 20% drop rate will yield fully *broken* amounts of loot, and if you don't turn on "currency crystals only" you might get a greater mind core crystal, for example, from your very first dungeon. To each their own of course, glad the option to turn the drop rate down is available, this is just to warn others.
At the shop, was forced to disable because both the "drop all valuables button" and taking out stuff from my inventory one by one, everything was getting sucked back up. I think it may need more than just automatically disabling while at home.
It doesn't grab individual pieces of currency dropped by Extra Loot.
It doesn't grab pre-existing valuables such as a chalice sitting on a shelf. However, if it just grabbed everything in a radius whether you've spotted it or not, it would be pretty silly. Maybe grab it once it's been interacted with, bumped, pointed at, whatever's possible? In the meantime I may just leave most of the static loot behind tbh, just stopping for chests.
Thank you for the mod, Extra Loot would get incredibly tedious without.
It NEEDS a toggle for the mod to actually be useable. Sure it'll suck all the stuff into your inventory, but then it prevents you from actually taking the loot out of your inventory to sell, because it just sucks it back into your inventory, even on the lowest setting. It's a great idea but needs better implementation, either that or it's a bug that needs to be crushed.
what it really needs is a script that turns it off for 10 seconds after you press "sell valuables" at the barons shop. As well it could use an option to be off when in the player home area to not mess with decorations.. I have one of every lootable in my house and have to turn this off currently to not disrupt anything.
MOST IMPORTANTLY it should at least not suck up your Skill Tree Crystals when placing them to attain skills (thus the "off when home" feature request)
But all in all this is a fantastic add on to "Extra Loot"... almost necessary if you don't want to be crawling around digging for loot (some do) lol

Cheers, and thanks again for your modding work.
