Blessings lol, I opened this game and thought "oh great, it really is just like BG etc, right down to the hideous character portraits" and immediately came to Nexus to find replacements. Thank you!
I am sure that I am doing something wrong, but it does not work. I selected and copied all portraits, but none show up in character creation. any tips are helpful.
I extracted to a new folder, opened the portraits, selected them, copied them into the character portrait file in the black geyser game....no new pics
Sorry for my English, it's not my native language.
Apparently there was a change in the format of the custom portraits, so for them to work you must do the following.
Take only the highest resolution portrait (182x216.png) and name it after the folder that contains it. For example, I use the human female portrait number 27, so the portrait will be renamed, "female_human27.png". Once that's done, place the renamed portrait in the game's custom portraits folder and you'll see it when creating your character.
They don't have to copy the folder or rename all the files, just one.

I really liked this indie crpg. The picpack isn't a big deal, I just want to draw some attention to this game.
