In case anyone was curious of the testing that I did for the "Storm" tonics. While recording, I equipped my 3 stack of storm tonics and took a drill hit from the first Big Daddy fight without shooting him or sending any other damage his way, and observed the amount of damage he took. I then did the same with only the "Elemental Storm" tonic equipped and compared the two. My 3 stack does much more damage on the elemental burst. I slowed down the video and you can actually see the individual elements in the burst. The reason it appears that the enemy is only affected by 1 element is because the first two elements are always canceled out, so you only ever see the last element to affect the enemy. For example: if shock hits first, either of the other 2 elements would cancel that out (as the target only has to take damage to no longer be shocked), and that leaves fire and ice; one of which will always undo the other and leave the second element present. If ice is first, shock won't undo that but fire will so whether fire is 2nd or 3rd makes no difference because the ice is going to melt and leave the enemy on fire. You will never see shock as the final element on the enemy however, as frozen enemies can't be shock and fire will cancel out the shock stun instantly just by taking damage from the fire.
thanks for the mod, not all the tonics are there, like for example, the little sister one that you get more ADAM, the one that you can only use the drill, and some others, personally I only used the camera one to earn its rewards, it's annoying to take out the camera every time for the investigation (do not use the buttons until you have used the first one that Saintclair asks us, otherwise the door will never open), for those who say that it does not work, if it does, just go to the address: "C:\you user name\PC\AppData\Roaming\BioshockHD\Bioshock2" and open "user.ini" (make a copy before) then open the "user.ini" (MOD) and copy everything from the "mod" and replace it with the original, then save and close and that's it.

Tell me you didn't read the description, without telling me you didn't read the description. It's not meant to be every tonic, it's my build.
How did you do this? I tried to do the same thing several years ago, giving myself all (or most) of the plasmids in the game at the start of the game, but it didn't work because the plasmids were tied to the level, ie you can only give yourself the plasmids that would be available in that level normally.
Also, various things would reset at the start of each new chapter.
I don't recall doing anything special to make it happen. It just didn't seem to have that restriction when I made this. It still has that restriction on guns though. Like you can only get the guns that you would gain access to on that level.
Hey how come after the first level Adonis, the numpad period button fails to truly give all weapons again a second time? all I got was Hack Tool new from Rivet and Drill, is this a bug or something else?
This does work for the Remastered version. I actually made it for the remastered version but it works for both. I don't know what to tell you about it not working for you. If you put the User.ini file in the correct place and followed the instructions for in-game use then it should work.
Hey JoshuaRedneck06, I don't know if you're still even monitoring this page. If you are I was wondering if you could help - I dropped the user.ini file into the correct place, replacing the original with yours. Upon inspection before opening the game it all looks good; key bindings right where you say they're supposed to be. Then I go to play the game and the .ini file resets to default. Am I doing something wrong? I'm waiting until I've gone through and gotten my first plasmid before doing anything and it still resets.
Nevermind I copied and pasted the text and it worked! Thanks for this amazing mod! Edit: adding weapons only works the first time, after that the '.' on numpad will only add whatever you have access to at that part of the level. Is this wrong?
@Bassmonk15 Yes that is correct. Even if you give yourself all of the weapons on the first level, they will all be removed on the following level except for the ones that you have access to for that level.
You can do that but you will get soft locked at a couple of different points in the story (the frozen tunnel can only be melted by Incinerate level 1, if you've maxed all research you can't progress after getting the research camera). Doing it this way allows you to have nearly everything without locking your story progression.
Mod works really well. Feels like new game plus. Just one question though, is there a way to reduce the number of healthkits and eve hypos at the start of the game instead of having 999? Thanks!
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to reduce that amount that you receive as that is a cheat command to give all ammo, health, and eve that I just assigned a key. But if you just don't press "." on the numpad that would stop you from getting those. But you wouldn't get ammo either so it's up to you.

I used that as a bind, and it gave me everything. I found it in the CheatManager class under the Give Player Everything command.
