Could inventory stack sizes be changed using this modding method? I'm thinking about making a personal mod or two.

Is this only for the original or does it also work with the remastered?

I have made this mod for BioShock 2 Original (2010). But is possible to make it work for BioShock 2 Remastered (2016) too.

This version is an old version, for some reason when I updated with a new version, the new download link mod .zip contained mod from previous version, because I have checked the file inside zipped file by seeing the date that was modified. I will wait some time and try to update again later.

      Edit: Updated.

I have discovered because of this post that the Reddit user "Xforcengod" has commented on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bioshock/comments/rkv5ug/bioshock_2_has_been_rough_for_me/.
I used the program "UE Explorer" to find the commands: https://eliotvu.com/portfolio/view/21/ue-explorer. And I used the file "Unreal Package Decompressor" to decompress the .u files from the game: https://www.gildor.org/downloads.

You can see the commands that I have put on the BioShock 2 mod as example. I have done and tested these commands by try and error using the tool UE Explorer.

I haven't managed to get more than 1 hypnotized people using this method sadly. I only managed to get more than 1 hypnotized people using Cheat Engine.

Select the Bioshock 2 process in Cheat Engine, put "Value Type" 4 Bytes, then make any enemy to become your ally, put value to 1 and press "First Scan", kill or make your ally to become enemy again, then put value to 0 and press "Next Scan", then repeat until you find 1 or some addresses, then select the address, then freeze and modify the value to be 0, and done. Now you will have unlimited allies.

This looks interesting, I quickly tested it on the GOG version, there seems to have been some changes made to the bindings for controller as it interferes with hacking machines, I will do a diff later and a manual merge and try again

I'm curious, is it possible to up the max amount of friendly bots to something ridiculous like, let's say, a dozen? I just think it would be a blast to go through this game with an army of security bots. (^.^)

Yep, is possible. Just edit the line of command in the file "DefUser_int.ini" to "Set ShockGame.ShockPlayer MaxBotControllables 12", to summon more than 1 friendly security bots at once the command is "Set Plasmids.SummonSecurityBotAdvancedAbility NumBotsToSpawn 2 | Set Plasmids.SummonSecurityBotMasterAbility NumBotsToSpawn 2", for the cost of EVE when summoning the friendly security bots the command is "Set Plasmids.SummonSecurityBotAdvancedAbility BioAmmoCost 100.0 | Set Plasmids.SummonSecurityBotMasterAbility BioAmmoCost 100.0" and "Set Plasmids.SecurityCommandBasicAbility BioAmmoCost 1.0".

Wow that's surprisingly easy, thank you! My army of bots are gonna trample over Lambs splicers. Speaking of, I'd kill for a mod that also ups the amount of enemies in this game to a ludicrous amount. What's the line I have to change for the mini turrets?

For the maximum quantity of deployable mini-turrets the command is "Set ShockGame.ShockPlayer MaxDeployableTurrets 5", for the lifespan of the mini-turrets the command is "Set ShockGame.ShockPlayer DeployableTurretLifespan 120.0".
