You [sir/ma'am or other gender] are my hero. Thank you. This works perfect. I was stuck on the last level of the protector trials and needed a perfect score (little sister isn't interrupted once during the run) and couldn't get past it. Being able to have infinite ammo made it so i didn't have to run to the vending machine to complete the level. I know it cheating but duh its a cheat mod. I've played this game since its release. Just happy to satisfy my legit OCD by having perfect scores on all the runs. 10/10. One side note you might care about, i noticed during the trials that the infinite ammo mod overrides the specific ammo allotment you get on specific runs. so for example if the run only allows trap ammo on the rivet gun, if you don't select anything and just switch to the rivet gun or spear it will fire the base ammo first. A great accidental perk from the mod when i just want to fire normal bullets. IF you select the ammo you are supposed to use you can't go back to base ammo though. Just a note for anyone using it. And I love that it works in the DLC and protector trials too. I'll prob turn off some of them when I go back to base game. Uninstalling is easy and works as intended. sincerely, thank you. people modding games decades after release are the real heros of the internet. If you release more mods I am beyond excited to test them. an invincibility mod would be a good test.
Also while using in the trials i noticed that invisibility worked perfect on base enemies, but if i attacked the big brute British guys they would attack me after I initiated combat. The Gen Alphas that spawn in the trials would map to a corner and stay there, never attacking me. I'm guessing they mapped the Big boss enemies to only attack the player and ignore the little sister, but all the base enemies will just go for the little sister. Since the big enemies have no insensitive to attack the sister they just run for a specific corner per level and stay there. the train level is where I tested this. The second trial location.
Thanks! I'm not that much of an expert of this game, I pretty much played the main game, and Minerva's Den (years ago) and that's it. The mod is more meant to be a demo of what can be modded with the new modding tools, than anything else. In this case I just edited some weapons, NPC and the player class to change some stats. Like making the weapons consume 0 ammo per shot, making the enemies blind to the player, that sort of thing. But it's a bit clunky, especially if the game uses scripts that override these stats for specific purpose. Anyway glad found it useful and enjoyed it!
