If you played BioShock 2 Remastered, you may noticed that audio quality in some cutscenes are noticeably lower comparing to the original game. I've replaced that lossy compressed audio streams using better sources from the original BS2.
Actually, BS2 RM have no such problem with compressed audio comparing to the BS1 RM. There's no so awful compression as it was in BS1 RM, some of the audio are even better than original 2010 release, some are just the same (almost, slight difference noticeable only on a spectrum).
These two paragraphs seem to have conflicting info...
If it's not lower quality than the non-remastered version, what's the mod for? Is it just some audio balance tweaks or something?
Thanks so much for all your BioShock fixes! I consider them essential. Shame that 2K made this lazy remaster port and barely fixed anything...
Btw, could you also eventually release a BioShock 2 GUI Fix patch like you did for BioShock 1? Could really use one.
Thanks for everything.
EDIT: Actually, after playing BioShock 2 I noticed that the issues are not as bad as with BioShock 1. Sometimes I felt like that the money counters were a bit off as well as some stores but really didn't notice much beside of that. The subtitle background was really annoying and unneeded. Wish it could be removed.
