There is an issue with infinite ammo (Bioshock 1 Remastered). It disables the ability to switch ammo so you are stuck with the default for any given weapon. Your HUD does show you switching to alternate ammo but there will be no animation of you reloading your weapon.
I'm sure of this because when I wanted to use proximity mines on the grenade launcher, I still fired the normal grenades. I then tried the heat-seeking RPGs and same issue. I suspected as much earlier but I hadn't used a weapon I was sure was not firing alternate ammo until the grenade launcher.
If by this method you mean making a mod that you install with TFC installer then probably yes. You might want to ask the author of the deep pockets mod what they modified, so you can re-do it with UPK explorer. There are tutorials about game patches available in the wiki.
This might seem like a stupid question, but does this mod play well with Deep Pockets and the modified HUD for Deep Pockets? Having stuff I pick up that goes beyond the set limit is nice. But ammo, jeezuz, I never find enough of the upgraded stuff for the big daddies or stupid slicers.
Edited for those who wonder: as it turns out, it really does play nicely with Deep Pockets.
I'm not sure, i haven't tested that. This doesn't modify the exe so I would guess it doesn't. This uses the same method as texture packs or mesh mods you can find here, so if these don't disable achievements, this mod shouldn't either.
i get an error C:\Program Files (x86)\steamapps\common\BioShock Remastered/Build/Final/Builds/ Release does not exit. It only happens with this folder of cheats, i check my game folder and there isnt another Builds, it has it twice any idea how to fix this?
Are you selecting the "bioshock remastered" folder in tfc installer as the game folder? Also, are you sure you downloaded the remastered version of the mod and not the one made for the original game?
Your mod packs are quite helpful and tremendously cathartic to those of us with Trypanophobia (hate needles). I used to play Bioshock as "weapons only" as possible but now can finally enjoy using my plasmids as much as I want without the constant need to intravenously recharge Eve. My phobia and I both thank you so very very much!!!
As someone who stubbornly refuses to use cheat engine at all and trainers as little as possible, I greatly anticipate the possibility of your mod packs for BS1+2 being extended to cover more things, if it's even possible to do so.
Thank you again for providing a workaround to a lesser known/acknowledged phobia and giving those like me a chance to finally actually enjoy playing the game without getting queasy every few minutes.
