A dark reshade for BioShock and BioShock remastered. Makes the game much darker and adds some nice color to some areas too. If it is too dark, turn off MagcHDR or Curves or turn the strength of the HDR down.
Installation: Install ReShade from Home (reshade.me), run the installer and select BioShock.exe, if it doesn't show up, it should be in (YOUR DRIVE LETTER HERE)/Steam/steamapps/common/BioShock/Builds/Release. If you didn't select the DirectX 10 option in game, select Direct3D 9 when it asks what rendering API the game uses. If you DID select the DirectX10 option, select Direct3D 10/11/12 when it asks what rendering API the game uses. When it asks what shaders you'd like to install, hit uncheck all and then check all. Once the install finishes, reshade is installed. Then, download the zip from the files tab on this page. Unzip it and put it in the new "reshade-shaders" folder or anywhere the .exe for bioshock is. When you open the game, once the shaders compile, click the home key on your keyboard, which is 7 on your numberpad. If you can't find that, look on your keyboard and find where it says "home" The Reshade menu will now open. At the top, select "reshadepreset" and then go to where you put the reshadepreset.ini you downloaded from here. Double click it or hit "select" and the preset is now installed. Use performance mode in reshade for extra fps! Enjoy!
