I have no problem with his talk save where it's silly. Sometimes his mission patter's on-topic but the weight warnings, alerts to clear resistance when you've just found the base, and all that? Not so much. My headcanon's that he's got recordings in the computer on the Dropship which play automatically...

Is it possible to get a mod like this, but for that annoying "Hey we need money" pop-up? I find that so annoying. I know we are under a mil, but really I still got enough for everyone to live like kings for 3 months, we are not broke. Its like he thinks thats it, no more C-Bills will ever appear again! Anyways, if you can make a mod for that, then you can be my hero, hell i'll even name a mechwarrior after you as thanks (I'll try and not get you killed, but no promises. a Gauss shot to the face is still a Gauss shot to the face)
Hey brah! Yes you can! But there is no mod that i know of , but no problem, you just have to do it manually. I found the tweak on the steam forums (yes, Darius nagging IS a global problem).
Heres how: 1) go in game folder BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\data\simGameConstants 2) open SimGameConstants.json with notepad/word/whatever text editor you have 3) Look for the following parameters "QuartersYouCanAffordWithoutTriggeringWarning" : 2 - set to zero "NotifLowFundsQtrRemainThreshold": 2 - same "NotifDangerLowFundsQtrRemainThreshold": 1 - same ...... and now these: "NotifLowFundsRecurrence": 14 - set to a high number like 999 (the number of days till next notification) "NotifDangerLowFundsRecurrence": 7 - again, high number aaaand theres also "NotifMechRepairsNeededRecurrence": 10 (which can be done just the same, adding a high number).

I can't get this to work with 1.7.1, it doesn't come with a mod.json so I made one myself for it, still doesn't work, also not when placed as dll straight into mods folder without it's own subfolder, I think due to the engine upgrade in 1.7.x the dll doesn't work anymore.
A great one would be if he shut up and stop haranguing me with COMMANDER WERE NEARLY BROKE! OUR NEST EGG HAS JUST ABOUT DRIED UP... Every damn week like clockwork, and God save you if you need to pass a couple months for a long mech refit/repair bill or from injuries or travel.
Yeah, the ability to further quiet his nagging about finances would be appreciated. Maybe convert this into a Modtek so that we can configure how / when he nags us about finances?
