Just saw this mod and wanted to give it a try, but for some reason when I install it I get an infinite loading screen. Not sure of it's the latest update that busted it or what but anyone have any ideas how to get it working?
Overpowered as hell, but a neat idea for those people looking for that. Would be far less overpowered if enemies could benefit from them as well, but I understand why that's not feasible.
How rare are these parts? I'm hoping they are super-duper rare to reflect how difficult it is to find working LosTech. If so, then maybe not as OP as it appears. If not, maybe that's something to consider for a more Lore-friendly alternative. It would be nice to very rarely find LosTech outside of the story missions. Even if they are very rare, I would consider toning some of the bonuses down a bit (especially the heat modifiers) if game balance is a concern for you.
Also, I just had to respond to your "heat management sucks all the fun out of the game" comment: Welcome to Battletech. Heat has been a major game mechanic since the franchise's creation in the early 80s. It is the great equalizer. It will curse you and save you in equal measure. Learn to fear it. Learn to love it. Learn to exploit it when your enemy overheats. :)
If you look in the JSON files the values are correct. I've been using these in my game for a week and all the values are correct AFAIK. Are you using version 1.1? Version 1.0 "may" have had different values. I'd try re-downloading v1.1 and reinstall.
EDIT: I just DL'd the 1.1 file and checked the JSON files and all of the Heat SInk values are correct.

"-12" is actually 7 dissipation... and all thew others are wrong too !
Medium (M)?.5T / -12H / 3-Slots ------ > 7
Large (L)??1T / -24H / 4-Slots ------------ > 11
Massive (XL)?1.5T / -36H / 5-Slots ----> 15
