About this mod

Improved DPS, thermal performance and weight management for the modern Mech Warrior. Makes modest but noticeable changes to weapons, heatsinks, jump jets, upgrades, and a couple ammo bins; improving overall effectiveness but without breaking the game. The AI uses stock mechs so they can't use the items — Nothing hits harder than Hyperion!

Permissions and credits
After playing the campaign slug fest, and after losing several mechs and pilots to seemingly endless waves of enemy lances, I decided to rebalance the game to better reflect the equipment that an elite mercenary lance would use. This mod makes modest but noticeable changes to weapons, heatsinks, jump jets, upgrades and ammunition; improving their overall effectiveness, but without breaking the game. Essentially makes them "+ + + +" by using all of the items available upgrades.

Since the AI uses stock mech designs they do not have access to these items.

==WEAPONS==
Weapons are now "+ + + +" and contain all of the weapon type's available upgrades. All other values are unchanged, except for heat and weight for balance, where noted only. All other values are vanilla.

==UPGRADES==
It did not make any sense to have some upgrades with no weight while others had excessive weight (TTS **cough***), This fixes that issue. This gives you a bit more weight for ammo and armor.  All other values are vanilla.

==HEAT SINKS==
Let's face it, heat management just sucks all the fun out of the game. What's the point of having a mech bristling with weapons only not to be able to use them effectively? Now you can. Heat still builds up, which needs to be managed, but at a much lesser rate. This also gives you a bit more weight for ammo and armor.  All other values are vanilla.

==JUMP JETS==
Removed weight but increased to 2-slots. When combined with heat sinks you can jump much more freely. Again gives you a bit more weight for ammo and armor.  All other values are vanilla.

==HOW TO OBTAIN==
All of the items, except the "upgrades", are available in most shops and are priced the same as the base versions. Upgrades, including gyros, cockpits, actuators & TTS must be obtained naturally. Weapons are labeled with "X" after the name or look for the manufacturer "Hyperion".

==INSTALLATION==
Drop archive's "data" folder into "BattleTech > BattleTech_Data > StreamingAssets > Data" folder. Overwrite when prompted. 

==NOTES (IMPORTANT!)==
Contains all necessary pre-edited "shop" files and "version manifest". If you have modified these files already, cut/paste the relevant lines into your versions.
