This mod aims to add a large selection of ronin to the hiring halls of the Inner Sphere, each with their own unique portrait and backstory. The pilots of this mod are designed to be lore friendly and believable... and numerous.

Welcome to the first installment of the Ronin Library.
This mod was has been made with the vision of enriching the population of random characters that turn up in the hiring halls as you travel across the Inner Sphere. The pilots here have been crafted to represent the personalities typical of those found in the Great Houses Armed forces, as well as a few of the more obscure cultures rarely explored in Battletech. Here you will find disgraced samurai, uppity exiled Lyran counts, people of the Arkab deserts and pirates on the run from their old lives in the Tortugan Dominions... and many, many more.
So far, this pack contains 80 Ronin, with plans to expand it in large chunks as they are created. The initial release has been built with the base game in mind, though admittedly some pilots have backstories relevant to the Clan Invasion. Pending permissions, it intends on releasing a separate pack that will also include Vehicle and Battle Armour characters to compliment the overhauls that add that. As it is, this pack should be compatible with all overhauls out there at the moment.
If you have an idea or type of pilot you'd like to see added, please feel free to drop a comment in the posts section and It'll be looked into it if it can be worked in tastefully. Please note that characters from other properties, self inserts and ridiculous power level super soldiers will not be entertained.
To install RoninLibrary, simply extract it into Steam\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\Mods
you should then be able to activate it via either ModTek *recommended* or via the mods section within the game.
