File credits
I would like to thank CrusherBob for creating an initial "Engine Swap" proof of concept mod wayyyy back in early versions of Battletech about 2 years ago. Some people left comments on his mod that it did not work with current Battletech. I did look at his .json files to see how he was doing some things so I feel he should get some credit here. I did a bunch of work to make a working version though and my version is superior in many ways by not using jump jets and by not matching engines to chassis tonnages.
Anyways, I hope this is useful to the Battletech community and I release my work with full permission to use in any way you like. Credits are nice but not absolutely necessary.

There are new parts called "Engines" and some new Gyros. They dictate the WalkSpeed, RunSpeed, and in the case of the Gyros, the MaxStability of the Mech in combat.
Please note, I only edited the 5 mechs that you start with in a New Career with "Randomize Starting Mechs" turned off. They are: COM-1B, SDR-5V, PNT-9R, JR-7D, and VND-1R.
Thanks goes to "CrusherBob" who made an early version of this idea about two years ago by modifying some jumpjets, I looked at his files and started working on my own version hoping to resurrect the idea. This method is much more "vanilla-ish" in that it does not require MechEngineer. Creates a much more elegant experience in the Mech Bay.

Required: ModTek* *It may be possible to put the files in the right folder and run it without ModTek actually. I am kind of new to the modding scene and I used a youtube tutorial to teach me how to enable/disable mods with ModTek, that's all.
