The story of this mod is a good one. The writing however... Is making Grayson Carlyle a condescending p*ick, calling the leader of an allied mercenary unit "kid" in every second sentence - your idea of fun? Have you read the books at all?
I mean, to be fair, Grayson is a massive tool in the books who constantly walks into trouble and is then saved by plot writing contrivance. So while being an insecure and condescending arse was not explicit in the books, it does fit how I remember them. Especially if you consider us, the player, to be that Deus ex factor that solves the problem for him.
I think the greater problem is the refusal to let players use their own mechs. It's taking away half of this deeply flawed game's selling point. I know the missions are possible with these rubbish mechs, but half the expression of the player's genius in this game is making your own. Or in my case, insisting on playing to flavour with a bunch of periphery mechs that are so ramshackle that I'm essentially insulting everyone I'm fighting.
I get that it allows for a more curated and controlled challenge, but it feels like being forced to play by Grayson's rules, which are as stupid as he is. What is wrong with letting the player have fun and feel satisfaction in their works? Especially when we're all beholden to the whims of the dice which turn carefully scripted chess, into random chaotic Craps.
There's a problem with the falcon's fury flashpoint. when i finish it and after all the conversations, it goes to the rewards screen, the game just hangs and the rewards won't come out. the mrb rewards is +900% and the cbills is 9,99999,999,99. Help pls
I have just tested it again in 3025 (removing the time-line requirement) and it works (irrespective of TDR-9S). Please make sure you are using the latest version.
hi. yes i'm using the newest version. but just to make sure i'll download it again. how did u remove the timeline requirement? also no can't go past the rewards screen. i'll play the mission again and if it hangs i'll make a screenshot of it.
Unfortunately not for this flashpoint since it uses clan mechs and there are no clan mechs in vanilla. But I have plans for 3025 era flashpoints which will be vanilla-compatible.
Hmmm, didn't know that. It should not take a very long time to make a compatible version. I will aim to do it by the end of the week. (Will need to make sure the balance is right as every mod is different)

Probably this is because the reward is TDR-9S which is not available in 3025.
I have just run the flashpoint with the latest release and it worked fine.... In 3049....
Can you go past the reward screen? Or are you soft-locked?
On a side note: you run English version?
Thanks
I have bene floating an idea where the player plays as the clans in a flashpoint
