Post-1.9, BT no longer recognizes the mod and this breaks any saves that include it. I have done clean, fresh installations of both the game and the mod and no progress. Any troubleshooting tips? Thanks!
Did you switch from using ModTek to the built-in ModLoader? I'm not sure if they would recognize the mod the same way or not. I've been using ModTek all along, and have no issues with this mod post-1.9.
I hate to say it, you may need to use the savegame editor to remove it so that you can load your save. https://www.nexusmods.com/battletech/mods/408
I know it wasn't your original intention but I created a mod for myself to add 4 new pilots then I used your mod to set them to start the game and it worked without issue.
RogueTech and BTA use a very similar mod, thats why both teams just went at it and compared the code
Our allows both to randomize and directly chose starting pilots
Stolen and uncredited dll's and assets has been a big issue since the beginning
But if you want to look at the code to learn and maybe improve yours i got a semi greenlight to point you at our dll and mod.json

I started the career multiple times but never got a screen where I could pick pilots... Am I missing something here?

*edit*
We took a look over it, this indeed seems to be new code, so the worries among some of us that it got ripped wasnt founded
Well done :)
