About this mod

Expands the list of possible starting mechs in Career mode. Several options available to customise which weight categories you want.

Permissions and credits
works with the 1.9 patch

By default, the Randomize Starting Mechs option in Career mode picks from a fairly short list of possibilities, giving you a similar line-up each time. This mod expands the list to include all mechs in the game, so you get a more varied experience.

This includes rare Star League models and new mechs from the Flashpoint, Urban Warfare and Heavy Metal DLC (so long as you own those DLC).

Three versions of the mod are included, please enable only one from the in-game mods menu when starting your game.

Randomer Starting Mechs: Light and Medium
Only mechs from the light and medium mechs weight categories will be chosen. You will always get at least one light and one medium.

Randomer Starting Mechs: Balanced
You will always get a mix of different weight categories, including at least one light and one heavy/assault.

Randomer Starting Mechs: No Limits
No restrictions on weight categories. You could get five assault, five lights or anything inbetween.

Dependancies
None. This mod works with the default mod-loader included in the game, so does not require ModTek.
(it should also work with ModTek, though I have not tested it)

How To Use
1) Download the file, unzip and place in your mods folder*.
2) Open the in-game mods menu and enable one Randomer Starting Mechs mod
3) Exit and restart the game, then begin a new Career mode with the Randomize Starting Mechs option ticked.
